Let me be clear, first and foremost, we actually came to visit in May for my partner's birthday. I have the receipts. Secondly, there is absolutely no way you can actually back a manager or owner completely disregarding us, as if we were completely invisible. Third and foremost, me specifically stating one's background is not a racial attack as it is me trying to be more specific on who the individual is as I did not get a name. I actually find it very pathetic your response for our mistreatment it is honestly laughable at this point, and the only reason I actually came back to leave the review is I genuinely forgot, but as soon as it came back to me, I was absolutely not going to let it slip. And a side note if this review is deemed a racial attack I am pretty sure Google will have it removed. Nice try deflecting. And to everyone reading this my initial review is just below 👇🏼
Me and my partner came for lunch quite excited first initial interaction was fine with the two ladies one was the waitress and the other was front desk, until the manager of oriental decent to be precise came around talking to everyone making sure everyone else was fine but completely ignored us came across really arrogant as if we were not good enough to be in his restaurant. Maybe a racial thing maybe an ageist thing who actually knows just funny to me because if they knew I was a professional football player I can guarantee it would have been a very difference experience. I am not one to complain but I just felt odd in there because of him it actually threw my appetite. The funniest thing about it is a female influencer turned up and honestly you would think she is related to the royal family they way they treated her. The bare minimum you could do as the owner or manager is politely ask or check if everything is ok and not to judge a book by its cover you never know who people are. Thankfully the two lovely ladies made it somewhat welcoming. But never will I step foot in that...
Read moreA very cool atmosphere and gorgeous interiors for a great dinner setting, unfortunately let down by service side mix ups.
We started on a great note with a carafe of tequila and plenty of great guacamole, followed by cocktails. We then waited almost 45 mins for our starters - at the same time, they came around for last orders so we added two more quesadillas and a dessert (so we could have something for a birthday candle).
We were told that because of the kitchen closing they’d have to bring out dessert at the same time as the food which was a bit weird - but the waitress said she’d be able to hold it in the fridge for us.
When they did bring out mains, they had gotten the order wrong so took the food back (much to our disappoint because the short rib looked delicious). That left our table with only a side of corn esquites and a further wait. In the end, only the chicken thighs were brought out, with no mention of our short ribs or quesadillas mentioned to us at all. Although they did comp the chicken for the long wait, we’d rather have had all the food we ordered.
We waited for a further 40 minutes and then agreed to just cancel any remaining food orders (but from the sounds of it nothing was being prepared anyway) and get the bill. At this point they brought out the dessert (a single serve of tres leches) because this couldn’t be cancelled anymore. Have to admit it was delicious but no one at the table was in a mood to share a piece of cake when we hadn’t eaten properly and were all just ready to leave.
What food we did have was good, can imagine if you actually had a proper meal here it’d be worth all the great reviews. However, £400+ later for drinks and a bit of food...
