Visiting London and was looking forward to trying this place as it was recommended by a friend. Firstly i tried asking about the sushi and the the person responded with what seemed like an attitude, maybe he didn't understand me, maybe he was busy or maybe I'm making excuses for him. turns out he was the manager, funny how some hospitality places have such rude customer service, this was not too much as a problem as my questions were answered, for the food I got sushi and katsu curry, which is what I was looking forward to, turns out they call it a 'Klean' katsu curry, which I wasn't told.. it would litterely take 10 seconds to say "the curry isn't in katsu breadcrumbs" I know this seems nit picky and maybe I should have read the menu but what is the point of having staff if they get irrated about a simple questions? All in all it was okay let down by the attitude and the lack of customer service. Will...
Read moreIt's a shame. I used to come to itsu king's road to have my dinner, and I always order Thai Chicken with no veggie. Unfortunately, today the people in this shop let me down by saying that they cannot make it "out of the standard". Team leader and possibly an assistant manager (as she wasnt wearing uniform) said the same thing.
What could possibly go wrong if you just dont serve a scoop of g'ng in that cup? I honestly dont know, and I used to work in itsu for few years as a team leader.
That sounded just they wanted to finish the pots ready in the hot pass, instead of making a new one, cause I came to this same shop last week and I was served as usual.
I truly hope someone kind enough in head office read this comment and take some action. It's not that hard to get a bit flexible when a regular customer order something. Julian Metcalfe would never let...
Read moreDuring our visit, we were unfortunately met with a very unpleasant experience. Despite our intention to enjoy a healthy meal, we encountered a dreadful atmosphere characterized by unpleasant odors and unfriendly staff. As first-time visitors, we were unsure about the menu, and when we asked a couple of questions, the responses were not only rude but also unhelpful, leaving us feeling quite confused. In the midst of this discomfort, I ended up ordering a soup that I didn’t initially want. While the soup itself wasn’t terrible, the overall experience left much to be desired. To make matters worse, after leaving the establishment, we noticed that our clothes and hair carried a strong odor of cooking oil, indicating poor ventilation in the restaurant. Overall, our visit was disappointing, and I would not recommend this place based on...
