I decided to give it a try and came for the first time to this salon last week as I was looking for a hair change not just a simple trim and I had read some very good reviews about the stylists and place.

I have been trying to find the place/person to call my hairdresser (for haircut ) to go to but so far have not found “the one” hairdresser. I found “the one colourist” (not Windle & Moodie in case you are wondering- NB: have never coloured my hair with them so cannot comment)

I have to say staff members were very friendly, nevertheless I left the salon with mixed feelings.

My hair stylist was a very pleasant person but unfortunately I am o little disappointed about the final result. This is because although my haircut looks nice, it differs quite a lot from the briefing I gave.

I was looking for an edgy messy look with side bangs and chopped layers but left with a more conventional look. which does not really suit me. When I left the salon I said I was happy with the results but I guess this was because the hair stylist was a very nice person and I felt bad to complaint about it but maybe also because I was trying to convince myself it looked good.

I guess I should have said something at the time but I did not.

Now looking back a few days now from the haircut day, I can say that unfortunately I am not satisfied with the final result and will continue my quest to find “the...

I originally decided to go to this hair salon as I saw gleaming reviews and I had made sure to do a lot of research beforehand as I was feeling quite anxious to get a haircut and had not gone for a cut in 2 years. I have fine 2C curly hair and just wanted a few shorter pieces at the front and just a cut to remove any dead ends and some more volume.

Whilst the staff are very friendly, unfortunately the cut did not live up to my expectations especially considering the price point. After my hair was dried it looked very crazy and the product used was clearly not suitable for my hair, I felt very stressed at this point after looking in the mirror as I needed to head out after the cut. I think the staff could see I was unhappy and I thought my hair would look better after I added my own products. The hairdresser then asked for someone to rinse my hair again and I then diffused my hair myself. I was really upset leaving the salon and I was also not offered any sort of refund/ partial refund especially given the fact I ended up having to dry my own hair.

After sitting with the haircut for a week I can appreciate my hair feels healthier due to the dead ends being cut off but I’ve been having a lot of trouble styling it. I have crippling anxiety and going to the hairdressers is terrifying for me...finally plucked up the courage and made an appointment... Had my first visit to this salon and although the day started badly with a hairdresser who didn't listen to what I wanted and did me an atrocious cut...seeing me visibly upset the hairdresser immediately got someone else without a fuss (Sergio I think he was called) who listened and put me at ease. The girls behind the desk (especially the one with the black hair sorry I didn't catch your name) bent over backwards to accommodate me and not once did I feel judged or uneasy despite me feeling horrible for.complaining. I then got Simon. Simon is some sort of hair god. I have horrible thick hair that's hard as hell to cut. He gave me exactly what I was after and was incredibly professional and attentive. Simon...first time in my life I have walked out of a salon full of confidence...you're a bloody genius!! I was blown away by the courtesy and understanding of the guys here. The reception staff are second to none. The juniors were all pleasant and chatty.
