Not only are the products of very high quality in general but the service level is excellent. They have a deep sense of "customer" in fact it took me back to the days that I used to work at G A Dunn and Co as a manager when gentlemen used to come for fitted suits and tweed jackets and everybody was called sir. Madam had a seat and was well looked after with tea and coffee whilst sir was persuaded to try on probably the only things he would buy for the next 10 years LOL. I use this analogy because this is like hopewells you going you get served extremely well you get looked after as a customer and when you buy something it will last you a long time. The experience of buying at hopewells is as good as the products themselves. It is a family business in fact I was served by one of the directors and I spoke briefly with one of the family. Our family has a long history with hopewells and after having an horrendous experience with a retail chain and finally went for quality and was amazed that it did not come with a Premium price tag. I'm extremely happy with my purchase but what I'm most happy about is the service. It took me almost 3 hours to buy a sofa and a bed but I actually feel that I was listened to and that I was asked questions I hadn't thought of and I was not push towards the most expensive product in fact far from it! I sincerely believe hopewells have the customer experience and our interests at heart. Well done and a fabulous 10 out of 10 review from me. Read moreCredit where credit is due ! What can I say about Hopewells ? Well I’ve just had my living room sofas and new dining table delivered and wow ! What a difference. The service from Hopewells has simply been the best. I have been a Hopewells customer on and off for the last 10 years and they always provide impeccable service and goods. It seems in today’s age people are more likely to leave a bad review and never a good review. This is a shame because we as humans all have bad days. However I must comment on the previous review below by Harley Dulay. The review has nothing to do with Hopewells product or Hopewells service but clearly a personal attack on a member of the team at Hopewells, which is wrong. As I work in a bank , we are very strict with refunds going back on the same card that was used, so I must come to Hopewells defence. They are going by the governing guidelines. And they cannot breach credit card processing guidelines, as these are in place to protect against fraud. Also for data protection, wanting a refund on a totally new card or bank is a no go! Criminal activity or money laundering could possibly be the reason why this method is used in the high street. Interesting ! Harley has left 15 reviews around the UK and 9 are all negative. Shocking behaviour.

Read moreWe had a party nextdoor and thought it was a good Idea to park in Hopewell whist doing some shopping there and wait for party to finish. My wife takes the kids and I am doing the shopping. Just when I was sitting down (after making mind what to buy), the manager came out and implied I am exploring their parking and taking advantage of them. Surely their rule for the parking is one of us staying on site and I even made a purchase which I think would compensate the parking charge and we spent hundreds of pounds in the past. I neither explore the rule not violate the custom common sense. Unfortunately none apologies were given to me in the end and this will be the last time we shop there. So arrogant and have to say this also applies to their price.
