Veggie Shed Produce — Local services in Aberdeen

If I could I would give this business and owner negative stars. I've been coming in faithfully the last 5 mts. He's always been rude, brash, abrasive and clearly hard of hearing. I shrugged it off but after tonight; he will never get a dime from me again. I will continue to support Michael's as it's 5 stars plus across the board but this stand right next to it, no. I had a long distance call come in I had been waiting for all day and it happened as I was checking out. I asked my friend to hold on and put my phone down, told the owner I had a receipt for my meat and wanted to purchase peanuts and another item also. He looked right at me and then just stood there. I returned to my phone call and for another minute or so he just stood there. After I again said, here's my card, run together run seperate, whatever is easiest for you, and the transaction was finished while still on the phone the owner began to chastise me about how disrespectful, out of line, etc., etc., I was. I let him say what he needed as nobody else was in the store and then said "sir, you dont know my life or my circumstances I've come here for months and you're rude everytime today is no different". He interrupted and cut me off. That was it. He will never get my business again. I went to Michael's and asked who ran the farm stand and they said "he does". I was in shock. I was informed that they get constant complaints about the behavior/attitude of the owner here. Don't waste your time and money with such a stuck up Karen. My phone call did nothing to harm him. There was no line there was not a single person besides me in that store. Clearly that person just needs to take his misery out on anyone he can. Shame on you, and your customer service this evening. Yesterday on my way to pick up my son from school, I got a call I needed to take and pulled into their parking lot, I went to the farthest back I could, not blocking customers parking. The owner approached me aggressively asking me what my business was here, to which I replied “I’m on a call and I’ll be on my way shortly as I’m on my way to pickup my son from school.” He then walked away, then came right back and begins to verbally harass me, personally insulting me, raising his voice, telling me to move along etc There are no “no parking signs” I’m not doing anything illegal, I told him as much, and he continued on. So I told him to eff off and refused to let him bully me. He then parked his truck behind me, making it impossible for me to move, so I had to call the police on him. The police came quickly, were polite to me, made him move his vehicle and they told me they were sorry and to have a nice day. This man is a bully, he is abusive and tried to entrap me, a woman, in an 80k vehicle mind you, I’m not some riffraff...

This store is horrible. The produce is not fresh. Last time I went the cucumber I got was bad and the produce today was old. Thats why it is so cheap. And today the cashier got rude and argumentative because I opened up the top of ears of corn to check that they were fresh. He got upset and said I was disrespecting him, that he wouldn't sell bad corn. Doesn't everyone check the corn? I told him it's nothing to do with him, it's nature, nature has bugs and can rot. So he refused to sell me the corn and told me to go to Walmart. There was only a few ears left at the bottom of a big box, of course im going to check it, I wasn't pulling anything off, just opening the top a little, But because it's only 25.cents I shouldn't according to him. If that's how they treat customers, idk how they stay open. The meat shop next door is amazing though. People like him are what give...
