I would never enter this store ever again. I walked in because my iphone screening was not functioning. The sales rep initially said that he could probably fix it, then he stated that this is not working. Therefore I should just replace to a new phone, because insurance deductible would be higher and that I am eligible for an upgrade. Then, he stated that he does not have the phone with the memory, and that he could order it to be at the store in 2 days. As he was working on the order, he stated that he is creating a new number, so I should only talk to him, and that he could change to my original number. Then, after all order was complete, that the phone will be arriving on Monday, and not in 2 days. I called him right back that I am going to apple store to see if I can fix the phone and that I want to cancel the order. He did not answer the phone. I text and emailed him. He replied back that he will cancel once the phone arrives the store. I looked at the paper that they gave me, it stated that it has restocking fee of $70. So I called Verizon to cancel from their end, they could not help, because this is a retail store. They instruct me to contact the store and ask for store manager. I called in next morning, the store manager was not available. I told them that I would call the central customer line. Then they stated that they can get hold of the manager at 10am. I called the 1 877 customer line, they stated that this is the first time that they can cancel, and dragged another 30min. When I called again, they said that the phone is already shipped so it cannot be cancelled. The team lead from the customer line stated that I should not be billed for restocking fee. Let's see, the story changes after I was one the phone for 7 hours total with the sales, Verizon central, and Cellular sales customer rep. I would avoid this store if...
Read moreCustomer loyalty and standing by its product are apparently not important to this business. My wife and I have had phone contracts with this store for approximately two to three years. I recently upgraded to a Google Pixel. The blue tooth functionality is nonexistent. The phone often shuts down randomly and I have had to factory reset the phone three time. I have also contacted Verizon Customer Service, who directed me to talk to the Verizon Store that I bought the phone from (Verizon Authorized Retailer – Cellular Sales, 200 Aberdeen Pines Way Ste A, Aberdeen, NC). After doing further research and talking to the Verizon Store, we determined this model phone has had known issues with Bluetooth connection to vehicles. Before coming here, I have dealt with Verizon Customer Service and another Verizon store, who both told me to address this to the store I purchased it from (this store). I have spent hours on hold with Verizon. I spoke with Dale Coley, who told me he would email someone but there was nothing else they would be willing to do. Meanwhile, I am stuck with a defective phone that won't connect to Bluetooth and I am still paying almost $300 a month for subpar service. Buyers beware, iust a warning to anyone considering using the Verizon Store, they will be quick to take your money but do not expect them to resolve any issues if your phone is defective. I am stuck in the middle, with everyone telling me deal with the manufacture of the phone (Google), Verizon, or the...
Read moreIm posting this 1 star review because this store in particular deserves 1 star but if anyone deserves 5 stars its Carter Fitchett! Since i had Verizon (from when they bought alltel) he has gone above and beyond to make sure me and my mother knew all of our options and would make sure we were happy with our service. When i was younger i used to break alot of phones! Mr. Fitchett would always help with the insurance process and made sure i had a phone. He has even given me one of his personal phones for a loaner! Also when I first got a smartphone he gave me his old phone case! He was the only reason I kept verizon because i knew if I had a problem he would take care of it. I have found the other salespeople can be rude and very dismissive if we werent buying the latest greatest phone they could care less to troubleshoot my problems thats why Carter was my go to. Now that he is gone I switched to tmobile. Verizon will never get my business as i see they do their employees the same as their...
