First time coming here; went through drive through and ordered 4 chicken strips . When got order, there was 1 strip that was normal size and rest were pieces of a chicken strip and counted as one of the 4 total chicken strips at $7.01. So ate two smaller strips and decided to go in and ask why pieces of a chicken strip were counted as a whole chicken strip. Took a normal size one in with smallest. They saw me walk in and up to counter and there were no smiles, cordial hello, etc… told girl up at counter what the deal was and I guess the acting manager ( didn’t identify herself or her position at this chick fil ) and said they cut the pieces differently. So I showed her the regular size chicken strip and the little piece they called a chicken strip next to it and I said, “Honey, doesn’t this look like the end piece of a chicken strip?” She said would you like another piece and I said yes. Then the other girl I first told about my issue took my regular strip and the tiny strip and threw everything in the garbage. Needless to say, they brought me a small box with two small strips in it; no box, no napkins, and no garden ranch dressing as they threw my bag in the garbage. No smiles, no apologies, very cold atmosphere… don’t know if I’ll ever come here again…very disappointing as I thought it was all about a Christian business, shoeing kindness and care for their customers. Check out the signs posted in three or four places in the building...notice no sign saying we are here to serve you and as we will treat you with courtesy, please show that back to our employees. It would be greatly appreciated as we want you to feel welcomed and thus creating a friendly atmosphere for all who enter these doors… again, very cold environment and not friendly at all! Very...
Read moreMy family and I LOVE your ice cream & occasionally come in just for an ice cream cone & nothing more. 9.5 times out of 10 the situation goes like this: I order & step to the side. I then wait several minutes for my cone while sometimes upwards of 8-10 employees stand around and talk, my cone is eventually made, and instead of just taking the few extra steps to deliver it to me, they set it on the counter where it generally waits several more minutes, and a separate employee eventually brings it to me. I totally understand there are roles and responsibilities in CFA, but teaching these young, first-time workers to not be a team player, not do anything outside their single lane, and that it’s okay to stand around and chat when customers are waiting / there’s still work to be done is setting them up for failure, plain and simple. That’s NOT how future jobs will go for them, and they are being set up for undue hardships, for no reason. Instead, have them learn as long as customers are waiting, no standing around is done. Then, no standing around is done as long as any work is left undone. Customers will be happier and the kids will be set up for a better entrance to adult workspaces.
Separately, you need a standardized weight for your ice cream cones. I never know how much I’ll get. Sometimes it’s just over the cone, while other times it’s huge. I worked at DQ as a teen and would have been let go if I had such continuous and blatant inconsistencies…. And God help me if I stood around when customers were waiting on something! My boss would have had my head! We love your food, but you really need work on the employee managing side of the...
Read moreUpdate- 2 weeks later and still no return phone call. That's how much they really DO NOT CARE.
Wife ordered 2 trays of wraps (catering, this is a refrigerated item btw so of course its in a fridge). Wife had added my contact info on the order but I was not included in any notifications so I called ahead to verify it was ready (wife wasn't with me for pick up). Numerous attempts to get restaurant on the phone failed. If you select catering you get a person off site. I could only leave a message for the restaurant so I left a detailed message and asked for a call back. A day later and they still haven't called back. I drove to the restaurant at 11am and got in the mobile order line(seemed logical for catering and I had my order #). I had to call one of the high schoolers to get them to come over after waiting several minutes. Told the kid my name and asked if he wanted the order #(kid was deer in headlights). He tapped the head high schooler and he came over and was equally perplexed but went inside for help. While I waited, I told kid #1 I had called multiple times and left a message. His response, "that's not my problem". Finally 5 minutes later my order came out without apology or explanation. I said thank you and he noted "it's been ready since 9am". Wasn't that his cue for "my pleasure" instead? Wraps were good as always but your catering logistics are horrible making the experience unnecessarily frustrating. I'd have let it go without a 1 star review but left with the feeling my order had been an unappreciated aggravation. We may order again but I'm not volunteering for the pick...
