Update: Will not shop here again. Kohls needs to clean house. Rude associates on the phone. I placed several orders. Two of which were pickup in store. I called because I did not see an email of when my items are ready so I checked my account before bedtime to find out that items were due to be picked up that day. I placed a call the following day. After a call drop from two employees, and another hangup before I could speak, the 3rd employee that answered immediately asked, "What items are you calling about?" when he picked up the phone. There was no "hello" or "this is _, how may I help you today?" or "thank you for calling". I introduced myself and told him why I was calling and he once again asked what items I was calling about and tells me he does not have them up front and did not put those items back today and since he put everything back on the floor yesterday that was supposed to go back, I will have to just come in and purchase them again. I let him know that he did not even ask me the order number to look it up! I asked for the store managers name, and was told Tim Willis, and asked to speak with him and told he was not there before he hung up. I filed a complaint with someone who typed everything I said via their # and no one has reached out to me. I am DONE with Kohls all together. This is well below satisfactory customer service.
Love Kohls. Employees are often helpful. I found a dress on the clearance rack without a price. Two of the store associates assisted with finding a price. (90% off, yippee!) My last order online for shoes turned out to be too large & there were only 1 pair left which had a defect. I did not have to ask, they offered then called another store to hold shoes for P/U. Easy pickup at the counter. Friendly, helpful, smiling associates who are swift in service are usually who I encounter. The store is clean and organized. Sometimes the lines get long but they move quickly. Pleased with...
Read moreA few days ago, I went to the local Kohl's store to mail back an Amazon return. No surprise, the Amazon desk was in the back of the store. I fell right for the trap and on the way out, I bought two Citizen watches. I collect watches and own about two dozen. As soon as the associate I bought the watches from took out the Citizen boxes, I could tell they were of poor quality - and no relation to the watches (ie, no model or serial number). Sure enough, when I got home and took the watches out, one of the boxes fell apart. Literally fell apart. Today, I went back to ask for a new box. That's all. I was first sent to the jewelry dept who had nobody there. Then I was sent to the return/exchange desk (no idea why since I love the watches and only wanted to exchange one of the boxes). The return/exchange dept sent me back to the jewelry dept. When I got there, there was someone waiting for me whom I hadn't yet talked to about the exchange. The associate couldn't find the keys to the jewelry boxes and then left me for another 20-25mins. When she came back, she let me know she'd talked to 'management' and they would not only not be exchanging my Citizen watch box nor for any other. Sorry. See you later. Where the 'management' was is a complete mystery. Completely missing in action.
Note, I don't shop at Kohl's often. Their product quality matches their service. But today, I didn't even get bottom of the barrel customer service. Do yourself a favor, do not shop at this location. In fact, don't shop at this chain at all. There are better options out there that deserve...
Read moreI was in the store and saw a sign that said to text a code to a certain number and I would get 15% off. So I did that and then I took my items to the front counter to check out and they told me I can only use that online. Makes no sense because the sign is in store and says to send the text so I can get 15% off. Since they weren't willing to accommodate that I just did the order online.
The online order defaulted to a different store so I changed it to this location since I was there and placed the order. Then I went over to the customer pickup area and try to explaining to the lady that I was going to order the items in the store but they wouldn't let me use my coupon so I ordered them online and I wanted to fulfill my online order with the items I had. I guess she was very confused and asked me if I wanted to return those items. I told her that I never purchased the items in the store that I did the online purchase. She then said that they would just have me return those items. I then had to basically explain it to her in first grade terms as to what I was trying to do.
then she got somebody to finally come over and help me. Apparently when I switched to the stores online it also switched to the size. So I had to wait for the other lady to fix that. Man what a freaking headache! Wouldn't it be just easier for you guys to give me 15% off when I provide you with my code instead of making me jump through those hoops and making extra people...
