I used to work here and was great then, I don't know if it's new management or what, but I bring my mother shopping with me and the past couple times it's been horrible. I push her in a wheelchair and there was a ladder blocking an isle by the comforters and a smaller lady worker was putting things away 3 feet from us and I said they really should move the ladder so you can get wheelchairs around to look and it's probably a fire hazard. I know she heard me because she came over and moved it not to the side so we could pass, but about 1 foot forward down the back row isle. And another thing is their furniture section is just crowded to an unstoppable level, with or without the wheelchair. But I am buying a house so I wanted to look at the furniture but I literally couldn't get to a lot of it because it wasn't wide enough isle space for my mom's chair. Also the rug isle had rugs all over the floor and it was very hard to roll over and I'm talking about the isle ones that are door mats really and some small rugs but they have big 5x7 and 8x10s that are between women's and more women's clothes I guess but like on the shoe side that used to be a big clear isle when I worked there now they have giant rugs that stick out far and make the pathway unusable when someone pulls one out like they must have the day we went. Also now there isn't as clear of a divide on the plus and misses sections. This whole place feels like it's not wheelchair friendly and if it's like that when I go the next time I'm contacting fire marshals and sending them pictures of blocked isles because this is ridiculous and so disappointing from...

if you're caucasion and you're petite. My girl who is visiting Ohio was in there on New Years Eve. She has a 15 minute video of being falsely accused of trying to steal, when the fake nail box says to open and try on ( they have extra in a compartment just to try on). Long story short, a black employee originally accused her, then the foreign manager and then the black security guard. Not only did he accuse her of trying to steal, a group of black women were recording everything and one thought she was staring at her, so she verbally threatened her, called her names and ran down the isle, as if she was going to attack her. The security told the women to stop and called my friend crazy. EVERYTHING IS RECORDED! He than, told the black woman to have a great day and smiled. The POLICE came, where the officer said, she was trying to steal and again, everything was recorded! He was also on camera, laughing and smiling, while sticking his tongue out at her like he was a child and she got kicked out. This was her first time ever being in the store. No, she has never done drugs, but she is Chronically ill. The news has been contacted, her attorney has been contacted and she had a seizure within an hour after all the stress. My family and I are going to this store to see how this is ran, so if you're racist and you work there, Becareful because my sisters husband is a state police officer and he will bs watching everything. Yes, we will be trying things on that says to try on, bringing a petite white girl, so we can see what happens. The attorney is working on a huge lawsuit. Ps, y'all DON'T know nothing about us...

I’ve shopped at Gabriel brothers my entire life born and raised in Akron . They will no longer recieve my business. Over 20 years I’ve bought clothes that have been either one stain here or there that were on it and the clothes ran small so I’ve taken them back with zero issues. Today I tried to return a hoodie that would show my belly button if stretched my arms up “Which I bought at night and I’m nightblind btw” had one small grayish stain , plus I needed gas money for work . Upon arrival I was immediately judged and told that either me or my fiancé wore it . Now mind you when I picked the hoodie up it wasn’t even in the original location with all the others so it had been moved prior to me purchasing it. They denied me and wouldn’t even let me explain the situation. So I left the hoodie and they took it without giving my money back anyway. I’ve spent atleast 20k w them in my lifetime and planned on making it a traditional store for me and my fiancé and three children now they’ll never receive any of our business. They should have just gave me my petty 12 bucks back and gained so much more . Bad customer service in Ohio is ridiculous . No wonder why were voted the number two most rudest state in America.
