I enjoyed sipping my electric blue neon drink that matched all the beautiful glacial water I was surrounded by. In all seriousness, I was on a cruise that actually two cruises back to back so I got to go to Skagway twice and I made a b-line for the Kone Kompany when I got off the second time. I just really like the vibes in there. It reminds me of the ice cream shop in my hometown. Most of the workers were high school students, and they make a dang good Lotus, and give very great customer service.
Check their entire menu out, specifically the fudge. You can sample them too, just ask nicely and maybe if it’s super busy don’t ask - but you do you! All I know is if I ever go back to Skagway I will be back here at Kone Kompany. I still think about...

There are two lines that you eventually hope you’re in the right one for. One was for fudge and the other for ice cream. You can’t tell from the main line/entrance. (Left-fudge, right-ice cream) Also it’s so tight that you can’t see the flavors before you are urged to pick something or get past up in line. I just ordered familiar flavors for both of us. I heard some of the other flavors were good, but I couldn’t even get a visual of anything before deciding. All in all, it was Dreyers ice cream, so it was delicious.
