If 10 stars were available I would give them 10! Once in a Blue Moose has unparalleled customer service and products! For Christmas I ordered my family some goodies and since I do not live in Alaska I wanted to make sure that their presents got to them before the holiday. After not seeing a shipping notification, I called to make sure my package was being sent out. The woman who answered the phone was so nice and relayed my message to someone who could help me. That same day I received the NICEST EMAIL EVER from Vernon, explaining that they originally lost my order, but had it prepared and sent off that day! They also included extra goodies in the box for the inconvenience! LOVE THIS STORE!!! If I am ever in Alaska I will make a point to stop in and personally thank the wonderful staff there! Thank you again for making Christmas possible for my family who lives so far away from me!!!!!...

I visited this store today with my elderly mother to look for souvenirs for family out of town. Upon entering I was greeted by the clerk, I looked around, and I didn’t see anything I wanted. When walking out I passed the register and the clerk accusatively said, “You gonna pay for those socks?” Implying that I had shoved something in my pocket and was shoplifting, which I had certainly not. He continued to do so, causing a scene, until I offered to show him what I had in my pockets, jacket, etc. (No socks). He was extremely unprofessional and rude and no customer should have to go through such an experience. As a local I will never return to this store and discourage anyone from doing so. Management should seriously consider this...

Great place to go for cute Alaska gifts especially homeware and jewelry. The store owner/clerks are fantastic and very helpful. I found everything needed for last minute gifts to take to friends. My friends seemed very happy with their gifts. The clerk heard me telling my daughter that my friend loves cats and he appeared with a cat sticker. The owner made my kids day when he gave them lollipops. To make the visit extra special he followed me to my car and secretly gave me two more lollipops which I pulled out for them on the airplane the next day and they were thrilled.
