Read moreThe rated this Target in Allen Park 4 stars because the store was clean and looked nice. However, it was really busy as well as the other businesses in the plaza. Upon walking into the store it was really crowded. I know being crowded is good for business for the owners. But the lines to check out we're too long with 10-15 people to each open line. I think they had 3 lines open and needed more registers open to check customers out or get some self serve check out registers and have one or two employees monitoring and assisting customers with check out if needed. But on this visit we visited the Electronic department. My spouse's mom needed to buy a upgraded android phone from Consumer Cellular because her old flip phone stopped working on their network. She was very frustrated about that because her old flip phone was easier to use and small enough to fit in her pants pocket. She didn't want a android phone because it's harder to use and she would have to learn how to use it. But it's to big to fit in her pockets now. However I explained to her that times are changing and she'll have to adjust to the times most things are going completely computerized. The employees in the Electronic department we're helpful to the best of their ability an got her new phone registered and working. So far she hasn't gotten use to using her new android phone but she's learning more an more about but at a slow pace. I've taught her the basic functions so she can focus on learning them for now. Then later I'll continue to teach her little by little until she's familiar with 3/4 or most of her...
Read moreBarnes & Noble, Target, Old Navy, Five Below, Michael's, Bath & Body Works, the Big & Tall Shop, Rue 21, Chick Filet, Meijer, Home Depot, Panera & at least a dozen or more other stores & restaurants are here! Extremely convenient and the stores are all really nice- spacious & packed with the best inventory- however- what keeps us AWAY is the poor design of the parking lot and the surrounding roads. There are 2 ways of entering and exciting; a North entrance and a South entrance. The North entrance has a smoother transition speaking in terms of bumps and the South entrance is the WORST. It's steep, extremely bumpy, the lanes are narrow and the 4 way stops for 8 lanes is unreasonable. The North entrance is confusing. You must drive it a couple times to learn the lane shift pattern- especially if you enter in to the Target area of the parking lot. People (in general) don't drive with courtesy- especially there so if you take your time maneuvering they the lanes, be prepared to nearly get hit or honked at. I love the stores but will avoid that shopping center because of the traffic & road condition in & out of that place. Around Christmas time, the Allen Park Police try their best to direct traffic there, but even then, the congestion isn't much better. If you visit, bring your patience and come during an...
