Went to this Best Buy 12/20 after purchasing an order through the mobile app. After three hours my open box item (Beats Studio Pro) had still not been confirmed. I went on the phone with Best Buy to inquire and during the call the order had a product out of stock option. No problem, ordered a new one and went to pick it up a hour later (representative on the phone said closer to thirty minutes). When I arrived the order had still not been fulfilled. When I arrived to the pickup desk to inquire, two young men told me that they had too many orders (over 600) and there was nothing I could do. I explained that there’s many available in stock, can I go and get one off the shelf and check out here? They said it had to be a Best Buy Team Member to get the item. Ok, sure. I get a more senior member walking the floor to get the item and she obliges. I check out the item. The teenagers complain about how they hate their job, are ready to go home and this is their first job during the entire process. I put the items in my car and go back into the store and finish my shopping. When I get back to the car (walked out of the store at close), I realize they gave me the open box item. Unfortunately, I was already charged for the brand new price. So after all of the hassle and waiting approximately five hours from start to finish I still have to come back the next day and sort this out. Upon arrival the next day the transaction went smoothly after explaining the scenario but unfortunately the attitude was about the same as the previous day. Genuinely felt a bit disrespected trying to just buy the “door buster” they are advertising first out of any deal they have. Thanks for the wasted time and effort and charging my card three times to hold up my funds during the busiest shopping period of the year. Merry Christmas North Point Best Buy! TL;DR: Had to make two trips over two days and charged triple the price to order one of their most advertised items of the week purely due to employee incompetence/lack of care. Best Buy is fine, just avoid North Point location.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ashton (Chromebook) at Best Buy deserves a standing ovation. My family and I came in just for a simple iPad case, and he turned it into one of the best shopping experiences I’ve had in years. He broke down the differences between OtterBox and Zagg like a pro, and when I casually mentioned I might be interested in a new laptop… well, Ashton went into “quarterback mode.” He pulled out fantastic options, gave honest recommendations, and explained everything like he was shopping for his own family. That kind of product knowledge is rare. The hardest part? Convincing my wife to let me buy the laptop. (Spoiler: I won… by buying her a new TV. That’s marriage math for you. 😅) What made it even better was Ashton’s sense of humor and the way he worked with his teammates. Udeep was awesome, and the supervisor over computers (who I think used to be over Geek Squad — name escapes me, but he was great too) backed him up perfectly. Still, Ashton led the whole sales journey from start to finish like a true MVP. Professional, knowledgeable, funny, and relatable — Ashton is exactly the reason I’ll be back. This review is 100% real. Check the cameras if you don’t believe me! It was me, my wife and three boys that came in after 5pm on 08/23/2025. I had on a green shirt, grey shorts and water shoes (what a combo) 😂

I went to this Best Buy with the hope of spending just under $1,500.00 on a new Google Pixel 7 Pro (256gig) and a Google Watch. I had looked it up on Amazon and compared prices, which were the same, but figured I could get the products that day instead of waiting for Amazon to deliver.

I spent about 30 minutes looking at the phones and watches, holding them, trying them out, reading the information they had in the store. Just one more chance to make sure that I felt good about my choice. I did. Definitely wanted the Google Pixel 7 Pro and the Google Watch.

I tried multiple times to get the attention of an employee. I waited in line at the phone customer service desk, but employees would help the other customers and walk away without even looking twice at me when I called out, "Hey, can I ask a quick question?"

My husband became so frustrated that he eventually started saying in a loud voice, "I'd like to spend $1,500.00 in your store today. Can someone help me?" I was floored when employees would just walk right by.

So I decided to leave and just buy it on Amazon. I had it pulled up on my phone as I walked out the front door. Half way through the parking lot, I realized that I had accidentally walked out of the store with a pop-socket that I was going to buy for my daughter, but I hadn't paid for it. I had completely forgotten that it was in my hand, so I turned around, went back in and waited in line at the cashier. When I got to the register the employee asked me if I had found everything I wanted. I said, "No, actually. I wanted to buy a Google Pixel 7 Pro and the Google Watch today, but I couldn't get anyone in the store to help me, so I'm just buying this pop-socket instead." The front end manager overheard me and told the cashier to help me, so we headed over to the phone section and he asked me if I wanted the 128 gig phone or the 256 gig phone. I explained that I wanted the 256 gif phone. He looked it up and replied that they didn't have it in stock, but he could have it there within a week. I thanked him (it's not his fault), but told him not to worry. I'd be buying it on Amazon and have it in my hand tomorrow.

I want to buy from a local store, even if it's a big chain store. They employ my neighbors and I'd like to support a business that brings jobs to my neighborhood. But THIS Best Buy was not only not the best Best Buy, it was actually the WORST Best Buy I've ever stepped foot in, so I guess I'll be supporting Amazon drivers who deliver to my...

TL:DR - can't believe this place is still in business, they have zero accountability and zero customer service

I bought a "Geek Squad Certified Refurbished" macbook Air. It was a 2020 version so 4 years old. The price was still a bit high for the age of it, but slightly better than Apple. Since I've had trouble with Fed Ex I tried to change the item to pick up - but I couldn't because the shipper (Best Buy) wouldn't allow it, and I couldn't get anyone at Best Buy on the phone through support. The macbook was delivered - but the box was completely trashed. Inside was the computer in an inflatable sleeve - no invoice, and no cables. The listing for the computer said that a power cable and USB C cable were included. The lid and the bottom were dented. The computer wouldn't power on - thankfully I had a power cable from another mac and I turned it on. I booted it up and loaded it so I could see if it would operate. The battery at full power wouldn't charge fully. I contacted Best Buy support online and they opened a case and said that if I went to the store they would make sure I got the cables i needed - and all I needed was the case number they created.

I went to this location and the first person I talked to at the desk just stared at me when I explained the situation. And she said - you want to return it? No, I'd like a power cable. We can't do that, she said. I showed her the transcript of my support chat and gave her the case number. She didn't want it, nor did she care about it. She went and got someone else - who also said "we can't do that". It's "open box, you get what it comes with". It's not open box (which is explicitly "as is") - it's "Certified refurbished" and the listing for the item with my receipt - which I showed him says explicitly "included power cable and USB C cable". The guy basically shrugged. "We can't give you one". The Best Buy support person opened a ticket and said if I came here you would, I said. "We can't." Some other employee walked by and said "I'd just return it." Which is what I did.

Word to the wise "Geek Squad Certified Refurbished" means nothing, support means nothing, and no one can apparently help you even if they sell you something, you paid for it, and you don't get what you paid for. They have no interest in helping you or making it right or making the...

Beware - You Decide The following are the facts of our most recent experience with Best Buy online via the Alpharetta Georgia store - removed of the frustration and emotion and this will the same information that should be noted in the Best Buy system.

We placed an order in September for a dishwasher with installation. The earliest we could get it delivered and installed was November (not ideal but not a problem). Our scheduled delivery date was this past Monday. The third party contractor arrived Monday morning after calling to say they were on their way (great) only to sit in the truck, never approach the door and then leave. My wife who specifically took off work to be there saw them sitting in the truck and security cameras confirmed they never came to the door. After calling the number provided by the driver nearly 10 times they answered to say they would be back in the afternoon. A call to Total Tech (agent #1) confirmed with third party dispatch they would return later - that never happened. Two more calls to Total Tech resulted in multiple apologies and to a reschooled delivery for this past Thursday which was confirmed the day prior. Thursday came, another day off of work and no delivery/installation and not a single word. Now onto agent # 4 with more apologies, promises to follow-up and make alternative arrangements and then nothing since except for an automated text seeking me to reschedule the appointment with an earliest possible date of 2 months from now. There a a lot more details that for brevity I will not include but reflect very poorly on Best Buy. Their customer service agents are pleasant but appear to have no authority or will to ensure customer satisfaction. It won't let me cancel my order online but assuredly that will be happening on Monday.

My objective with this review is two-fold. Primarily, that if you are considering making a significant purchase at Best Buy, please reconsider given the other options available. My other hope (although not likely) is that someone within the Best Buy nation actually cares about their customers and will get involved.
