I received the worst service from this Ross today than I ever have from a Ross store. I almost exclusively shop at Ross, all of my clothes are from Ross. I was wrapping presents this weekend with paper I had bought from my local Ross 3 days ago when I ran out. I drove to 3 Ross stores to check before calling this location to ask if they could check for me to save me a half hour drive. The manager happened to answer the phone, and they were so very rude to me. They said they were way too busy and I would have to come look myself. I said “But it would only take a few seconds to look, isn’t the wrapping paper right by the registers?” And she yelled at me “It will NOT take 10 seconds and we DO NOT have the staff for that!!!” And then she hung up on me. I drove out to the location to check (30 min drive), and found that not only was there no line at check out, but that the wrapping paper was literally within arm’s reach of the cashiers’ counter.* They did not have the paper, but I ended up buying another item I needed. I then called a DOZEN other Ross stores and every single one was willing to help me. A few stores said they were busy but took down my number and called me back within a half hour. This particular location simply needs to revamp their customer service policies and possibly retrain or rehire their managers. 🤦🏼♀️ See pics of empty line and wrapping...
Read moreGrace, the manager on duty on 10/10/19 5pm has no customer service training. I had an issue with a item I bought that was broken. She refused to give me any credit for it or let me exchange it because I did not buy it at this location. I get it all stores have their goals but it at the end of the day you are all one one store. I simply needed to exchange the item for a similar or the same one. She told me I had to go to my original store and they will give me the number to customer service.. I asked if she can just give me the number. Once I called and customer service, customer service gave her instructions to return item. By this time I had left the store, I went back because I was told corporate spoke to the manger and she was able to help us get our store credit/exchange. When we arrived grace kept giving us a hard time arguing with us “that’s not what customer service told me”... long story short I had to call again in front of her for her to be able to finally help us out. We took the store credit and spent it at a near by ROSS. Never returning to Ross...
Read moreWas inside of store 40 mins til close. Asked for help a few times, clerk seemed agitated and didn't want to assist me. I stood near the jewelry case browsing & waiting for assistance for about 25 minutes. After the same clerk announced it was 5 mins to closing time I waited in one spot and tried to make eye contact with someone since they were all checking people out I decided to wait patiently. After announcing they're closed and still checking out the last 3 or 4 ppl the clerk made eye contact with me about 3-4 times. She finally asked if I needed assistance, I nodded and answered yes. She continued to check out customers until she was down to 1 or 2 ppl and then called out to me stating they weren't allowed to show jewelry after closing. I explained I'd been waiting there and she slightly shrugged stating "I know, it's just what the manager said." I rolled my eyes and walked out. Bc what's the point. I felt so unvalued.
