My wife and I decided to try Paris Banh Mi for breakfast after coming across it on Google Maps about a week ago. I had the B7 (Pork BBQ Banh Mi), my wife the B10 (Croissant Grilled Pork), and we shared a 11 (Crème Brûlée Matcha). They were all the delicious! 🤌🏾
It was my 1st time having a Banh Mi sandwich and I wasn’t disappointed ☺️. It has slices of Char Siu pork mixed with cilantro, bell peppers, pickled daikon, and carrots. The vegetables added a freshness to the sandwich that I really appreciated. The bread had a slightly crunchy but soft texture that paired well with the ingredients. Overall a great sandwich. It tastes refreshing and the flavors aren’t overwhelming. All the ingredients pair well together.
The Croissant Grilled Pork sandwich was great. The croissant was soft and buttery. The vegetables were the same ones used in the Banh Mi sandwich. The pork had a mild sweet flavor, which I loved because of course I had to try some of hers 😁, and some mayo. Another winner 👍🏾. (PSA: The pork is slightly fatty, but I like that. Just thought I’d mention that in case you don’t.)
The Crème Brûlée Matcha drink was really good! We added some boba to it (highly recommend). The matcha flavor with the “burnt” crème brûlée flavor was a nice combo. 👍🏾
There were pastries everywhere in clear plastic wrappers in the center of the store (🤩) so we decided to pick up a few to take home after eating. We picked up the last Pistachio Croissant and as we were having a hard time deciding which other ones to take home, the owner came out from the back with a Pistachio Croissant on a plate inviting us to sit down at the table again and have a freshly baked Pistachio Croissant! 😮 Didn’t expect that!
It was flaky and crispy with a pistachio cream filling that was subtle and not too sweet. The filling didn’t overpower the croissant. I loved it! The owner said it was his favorite ☺️. I can see why. It was really good! We chatted a little bit with him and asked for his recommendations on which ones to pick. As he picked out a couple options for us he surprised us, yet again, by inviting us behind the counter to pick freshly baked versions of the ones we just got right off the baking cart! That was really sweet of him! 🥰 The cashier joined in on the fun of picking fresh pastries and offered her recommendations. I thought that was sweet and helpful. 😊
In summary, the food was excellent, the staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and clean with a relaxed vibe thanks to the music and the design of the store. Definitely give this...
Read moreI’m so happy there’s finally a banh mi place close enough to home!
I go to the first location on Colonial, and that’s a good drive away. So I normally make my own at home, but I enjoy this type of crispy Asian baguette from time to time.
The sandwich may look underwhelming, but for someone that enjoys Vietnamese food, I really like the simplicity, umami and light crunch that this style of sandwich offers. The sandwich definitely has to be toasted well for that perfect crunch though!
Otherwise it’s chewy, which still tastes good, and may be easier for inside your mouth lol. The iced coffee is ok by itself, but pair it with the sandwich and it’s a delicious treat. Usually I get the B2 BBQ pork. I’ve tried the B1 special combo and didn’t really like it, and had the shredded chicken as well.
One is not really enough for me (usually 1.5 is filling) , I would definitely get two because once you try it you’re gonna want more.
Though if you’re not a piggie like me, It’s a nice size that you don’t feel heavy and bloated after, especially since it’s not laden with a ton of cheese and extra fat like most normal sandwich places. And that, of course, then leaves you room for dessert and pastries after 😉.
They do have a special right now, I believe it is buy 5 banh mis and get the 6th free (also B5G1 for be wrapped pastries). And for the Boba/drinks, its buy 2 get 1 free. I do wish it was a tiny bit cheaper overall, but heck, inflation. (Cash price is what is advertised, if you pay with a card, be ready to pay slightly more)
They do automatically come with fresh seeded & sliced jalapeños inside (It’s typically not hot; however you know how peppers go), and the sandwich will be whole/uncut so if you need it adjusted, just let them know.
It may take a little bit to prepare as it’s still a new spot, but if you don’t mind a little wait it’s a yummy...

Notes on taste and flavors of what I ordered so I can remember why I do not want to order them ever again: Matcha mochi donut: lacks the matcha flavor that I am used to from other popular places known for their matcha desserts. My daughter loves everything with matcha when we go to shops with matcha desserts but not at this shop. My kids sniffed the donut and said "it smells like vomit". To clarify, the matcha donut does not smells like vomit, but the unpleasant smell sure reminds me of the kids' milk when it's near its expiration date kind of smell. The matcha icing is moist and it's not so sugary sweet. The kids and I can't get past the unpleasant smell.
The pina colada beverage was okay. I can taste the dominating milky taste and pineapple flavor but the coconut milk flavor is very weak. I will not be ordering that again.
My kids and I have always loved traditional French vanilla bean creme brulee. I ordered the creme brulee with mixed berries and was excited about it. The owner said it's more like a cheese cake. I was worried because I told him my kids and I detest cheesecake. He said if we don't like this creme brulee with berries, we can replace it with something else. It turns out okay for me. My kids did not like this creme brulee so I ended up eating it all. It's not something I would want to eat again in this lifetime. The berries are too tart for my preference. The creme brulee texture here is just not that smooth creamy custard-like silken texture that my kids and I love and used to eating.
Overall, there was just nothing we ordered that stood out enough to make us want to...
