We have been using Dependable Plumbing for many years and so has my mother. We love them because they are honest, very skillful, and kind. But when Atmos Energy recently changed our gas meter and would not turn the gas back on until a plumber checked our system for leaks, Dependable Plumbing was not immediately available. It was cold, and my husband and I wanted the gas turned on as soon as possible so that we could use our furnace, so we consulted with another plumber. He did a test for $300 and told me that we had leaks both in the line that runs from our house to the alley and throughout our home. He explained that it would be necessary to dig up our backyard and replace every gas line for $9000. We opted instead to deal with the cold house, purchase electric space heaters, and wait until we could consult with Dependable Plumbing. When Dependable Plumbing tested our gas lines, they found no leaks in the line that runs from the house to the alley or anywhere else throughout our home. We were so grateful. In addition, they were willing to speak with the technician from Atmos Energy. He found no leaks and turned our gas on. Dependable Plumbing then returned to light pilot lights. Seth and Aaron are amazing individuals and plumbers. They went over and beyond my expectations in assisting me with a second opinion, and so much more. They helped us locate the ATT construction company that drilled in our alley to install cable lines and broke our sewage in the process. They answered tens of calls from me regardless of how often or when, and were extremely courteous, helpful, and very experienced and knowledgeable. They ran their camera through my line, worked diligently on assisting me with my issue with ATT and placed my well being way ahead of their profits. They have made a loyal customer of myself, they will always be the people I call for any future plumbing issue! We were told by a different plumber that a company had cross-bored our sewer line. We worked for weeks to find the utility service responsible, and were about to spend big bucks to dig it up ourselves when we talked to Aaron. He came out, did some looking and advised a more conservative course. As it turned out, he cleared the line, ran a camera, and found that the orange “line” the original plumber had seen on his camera was the bottom of the city sewer line. Aaron saved us big time from about $20k, and a huge hole in the alley that would have revealed no problem.
