Horrible customer service. The cashier Liz was insanely rude with every encounter I had with her. If I asked her a question, she was less than helpful and acted like I was stupid. We had several items and she set them on the counter and told us bye. We asked if the items would fit in a bag since she didn't put them in one and she replied with "probably." We sat there for a minute while she was trying to turn around and then we asked her nicely to put them in a bag. She literally rolled her eyes. I didn't realize it was such a big deal to put bought items into a bag or that I even needed to ask for one. The other guy, Jessie, asked her to put them in a big bag. We asked about signing up for the rewards card earlier when I was laminating items and we thought we did, but when we went to buy other items with Liz, she said it didn't work so we asked if we could enroll again and she looked so confused and frustrated. You could tell she wanted us to leave even though we were there for just a few minutes. Jessie came over because to help, which was great, but then he kept going on about how we don't even need to sign up for the rewards card because we won't get anything and it's not even that good. He was just trying to get rid of us as well. It's not even that big of a deal, but I've never been treated like that at a store EVER. so done...
Read moreI like the staff for the most part but have grown to hate Staples. The latest incident involved ordering $250 worth of printer ink. I was assured my order would arrive by Fri since I was ordering it tues afternoon. Was figuring to order all my ink through this store since it would be more convenient than ordering through the manufacturer. Fri comes along and I get a email that it had only just shipped fri morning and due to be delivered the following Wed. Its a holiday weekend and I had expressed my need for it by fri as I had a art show I needed to print more pics for. I called to see if they could possibly find someone to deliver it since it was $30 worth of gas for me to make the trip, hence the reason for ordering and having it delivered. The manager refused to do anything for me. I ended up making the special trip to get the ink cartridge I needed. $75 with the gas for the one cartridge I needed and had to get a refund and charge again to get the Staples online price. You shouldnt have to surf their own site to make sure you arent overcharged at the store. I am intending to return all $250 worth of ink I purchased for delivery over this issue and dont intend to buy anything from Staples again. I would never recommend this company to anyone! Read moreWhile the store itself is very nice, I have had my issues with the print service area, specifically the staff. Today pushed me enough to finally leave a review. While I've been dismissed by the print service staff before and been told they can't help me print or I need to do it myself (which last time I checked is untrue, I should be able to get things printed by the staff at the counter) today I went to print and was asked for help by an older gentleman trying to print. He was unsure what he had to do and the print staff had been no help. They gave him the same instruction card they gave me when they first told me to do it myself and left him to his own devices. The fact that no one working the print area at the time noticed this man struggling or helped him when asked is ridiculous. I walked the man through the whole process, made sure everything looked ok for him and then sent him on his way. While I am always happy to help and enjoyed talking to this man, I shouldn't have to when there are multiple print staff being paid to do just that. Staples really needs to get on the print staff and offer better customer service in that section of the store because it's just ridiculous.
