Best small town Parcel service hands down. I see there had been a bad review about service speed, ill tack that up as an impatient big city transplant not from Anacortes. Wish we could put a stamp on their head and return to sender. The Owners and staff there have always been amazing, even when systems are acting up or are slow to process. They have even in the past expressed waiting on the system to process. Every time I go to the Anacortes UPS store Im greeted with kindness and a smile or wave; possible because I come in with a smile and a booming PNW greeting. Good attitudes towards staff even when busy ill get a good day, a hello or smile. Their performance and willingness and offers to assist in caring larger parcels to my vehicle. When I had an injury and needed a walking stick to help me get around, the staff offered to carry my parcels and load them up (way above any disconnected service you may receive in other parcel centers around the state that I have interacted with.)
Tip to grumpy people, you get what you give. the world is not your therapist and should not have to take on a projected bad attitude. Good people of the world are over it.
Ill end with a thank you Anacortes UPS store for outstanding service a warm welcome, and honest service.

Read moreI attempted to do an Amazon return twice in the last week. I rarely shop on Amazon, so returns happen even more scarcely. I was able to return my items upon the second try, but the customer service that I received upon walking in the door with both employees was abysmal. The first time was an older gentleman who simply looked at me and said "I can't do anything with that." The second time was a woman who simply said "are you going to pay for it?" and, "do you have anything I can scan?" Neither of these scenarios are explicit or inappropriate, but the tone and attitude with both interactions was condescending. It was like I was being talked to like I was an idiot by both employees.
I followed the directions provided to me by Amazon. There was nothing specifically listing who was going to pay for the shipping, and since I rarely ever do this, I did not have answers because I am simply uneducated on the matter. Instead of guiding me through the process or being generally helpful, they both talked to me as if I was burden and a waste of their time. These interactions were days apart with different employees. But the consistency was clear - as soon as I walked in and I said, "Hi! I have an Amazon return," the treatment of a customer was well...
Read moreI've been coming here for my Amazon returns for 8 years and I've never had a problem. I'm the type of person that keeps my Amazon boxes or plastic bubble bags until I find out if I need to return it or not that way I can box and label myself. I even save an extra couple boxes and bubble bags just in case I need them later. I'm not sure how quick it is when you have UPS print your labels and box for you but I do know if you box and label yourself it's real fast, in and out in under 3 minutes. When they're super busy around the holidays they just leave a bin in the front for returns that way you don't even need to wait. I can remember about 1 year ago a worker there was definitely not a customer service type of person but I haven't seen them since so I'm guessing they no longer work there. Other than that all the people that work...
