My new favorite sushi spot! I want to make it very clear that this restaurant has the freshest sushi bar I have seen since living in Washington!!! I'm very particular about my sushi. I won't just walk into any place, And after careful consideration and reading all the reviews of DeAsian, I decided it was time to give them a try! deAsian does not disappoint and would give them a million stars!! I ordered spicy tuna and the monster lobster on the specialty sushi menu. It come to the full 8 oz of Canadian lobster tail and it's perfectly cooked tempura style, layered in a ceviche glass with all types of yummy options layered up including avocado and seaweed and fish eggs and lobster tempura, on The bottom tray they actually make a lobster roll sushi with cream cheese, avocado sriracha and it was so Delicious!!!! I'm ready to go back. Find you. When I walked in and sat down at the sushi bar it was going to be good because there were no weird child smells, thank God! The owner actually interacted with me and assured me the fishes rotated every 2 days and I believe him! So go and visit this Chinese fusion sushi bar with ease and no anything and everything you order will be top notch quality and super fresh! The service and atmosphere was top quality as well. The lobster roll dish comes with a salad and miso soup And it was the freshest greenest ginger salad I've had yet! The miso soup was absolutely perfect. May I mention another reason why I went there is because I don't eat pork and their Wonton Soup is made with shrimp in ground chicken! Not to mention a very unique menu that I will be happy to go back and keep trying different things. If you're looking for some good fresh sushi and Asian fusion cuisine as well as wanting to make an impression on your guest then I would definitely choose DeAsian fusion in Anacortes Wa. I had an amazing experience and I will be going...
Read moreTL;DR Yes, try this place out. Great new spot!
Happy to have ramen in Anacortes. Had the Tonkatsu tonight. Servings are not huge and the broth is not as dense/flavorful as other Ramen restaurants in Bellingham or Seattle. Not sure the noodles are made in-house… very standard noodles. The overall flavor was good though and the price was right, making it worth it to go back and try the other ramen soon. But, if you’re a ramen connoisseur, you may be left wanting (maybe they’re playing to the retiree taste buds of the community??) Fine might be the best descriptor, so just don’t expect your mind to be blown. That being said, I had several nigiri and the green tea ice cream, which they did a great job with and I also saw other tables with entrees that looked delicious, so I hope people try this new place out! I know I’ll be back. There’s so much on the menu I want to try! On a side note… with the cold weather months, cross your fingers to get a table at the rear or back sides of the restaurant, as the cold wind comes rushing through the front door and can dampen the mood for date night. Or you know… just plan to wear a sweater, scarf and you’re favorite toque and you’ll be set! Looking forward...
Read moreUpdate: we visited last night and ordered the monster lobster roll, the Anacortes roll, the California role & the orca roll and they were delicious but as usual. But the monster lobster roll stood out as the last time we were there. Towards the end, we heard some music.Like jingling and they came out with a big boat full of sushi for a table near by. They call it the love boat. We might have to give that a try next time. But it'll be tough for it to beat the monster lobster roll.
We were so happy to find this sushi bar. The ratings attracted us. Everything was perfect the service, the food, my favorite thing is the monster lobster roll. Everyone was very polite and even the owner stepped away from making the sushi to fill up a gallon jug for my BMW which runs on gas and water these days, LOL. We are looking forward to visiting again, hopefully we'll bring more family and friends in the future. I would recommend adding pictures of the great dishes to the menu, because we almost didn't get the monster lobster roll, but had we seen the picture there would have been no doubts. So glad we have this awesome sushi bar in our...
