AVOID: This place is absolutely NOT newborn or kid-friendly.
Visited on 10/29 at 9:50 PM (noting the exact date and time so the owner can review the cameras). I came in with my 5-month-old baby in a stroller, half asleep, planning to have dinner with my family on our way back to the Disney hotel.
The hostess, Dia, told us we could not bring the stroller inside. I calmly explained that my son is five months old and cannot sit in a high chair, so he needs to remain in his stroller for safety and comfort. Dia ignored my explanation completely and had an extremely rude, dismissive attitude.
We asked to speak to a manager, and that’s when things went from bad to worse. The manager—who employees referred to only as “Joe” (a heavier-set woman with brunette hair and reading glasses)—came out. When my husband later tried to get her full name for this review, Dia refused to give it, saying, “There are a lot of managers here, and I don’t know her full name.” You work with your manager and don’t know her name? That’s absurd. Clearly, they didn’t want us identifying her because they knew how poorly this situation was handled.
When “Joe” finally came out, I again explained that my baby cannot sit in a high chair and must remain in his stroller. Her response? She told me to leave my baby outside—unattended—while we dined inside. I’m not exaggerating. When I told her that was not an option because my infant could literally be kidnapped, she just stared at me, completely blank, with no response—then told us to leave and find another restaurant that “allows strollers.”
What kind of manager tells a mother to leave her five-month-old baby outside a restaurant? It’s beyond unprofessional—it’s inhumane, unsafe, and appallingly ignorant. The excuse given was that strollers aren’t allowed “for fire hazard reasons” and unless a baby has a disability. That makes absolutely no sense. A 5-month-old baby is obviously too young to sit in a chair safely.
The fact that other nearby restaurants—Centrico, Paseo, and Naples Ristorante—had no issue whatsoever accommodating our stroller makes it clear this restaurant is the problem, not us.
To the owner: Please reconsider your management team. “Joe” and Dia completely mishandled this situation. Their lack of compassion, common sense, and professionalism is astonishing. Hiring staff who treat families with infants like an inconvenience is a sure way to destroy your business.
Telling parents to leave their newborns outside unattended is not just bad customer service—it’s dangerous and unethical. These are babies, not pets you can tie to a pole.

Read moreI went last year during the end of November. I will start by saying yes it is pricey...but you are at downtown disney in California so it is expected! So the prices being high doesn't stop me from wanting to go back again. The atmosphere is great! Looks like graffiti all over the walls! There's music playing the workers are all friendly with a smile on their faces. There is usually a big line but it seems to move pretty quickly. They have amazing giant shakes! We got one with a huge slice of cake on top! Just sitting there right on top of a thick ice cream shake 😋 and the cake was delicious not lacking on the decor of the shake lol also got a regular vanilla ice cream shake that was also pretty big. Had some fried pickles that were crispy and so yummy with their cold creamy ranch dip! I got a kids grilled cheese and fries for myself and it was super good 👍 the fries were fresh and crispy on the outside and so tasty. The grilled cheese tasted so good also, its pretty basic so I'm not sure how someone could mess that up 🤭 my daughter had a kids burger and fries which was a pretty big size burger and it was delicious as well. My husband had a giant thick classic burger with fries. You can have them cook the burger to your liking! The pickles were so good and fresh and crunchy. (I like pickles lol) we all share everything so we all taste each item and no complaints all around! Kids and parents both give 2 thumbs way up and we all can't wait to go again this coming January! I would definitely recommend dining here if your at Disneyland, downtown disney, or even just in the area! Its awesome! You won't be disappointed! Just remember it is pricey so its not a weekly kinda place to go, just every...
Read moreMy +1 and I came here for a foodie date.
The line queue was a little bizarre, and I thought we would get table service but we ordered at a register and then were taken to a big bar in front of windows looking out, right where the line was. This was a big negative for two reasons: We asked for a table. All the people in line (right outside the window) were staring at us while we were eating our food. We tried to ignore the awkwardness of eating directly in front of strangers standing directly in front of us, but some people actually had the audacity to wave to get our attention, pointed at our plates and then gestured at the menu trying to ask us what we were eating. Seriously? Maybe one-way privacy windows, or some plants in front of would help?
As for the food, we tried a (lot) little of everything and shared. We started with the fried pickles and truffle mayo, and Korean barbecue wings. Both were amazing, though we preferred the dill sauce to the truffle mayo. However, that stuff was AMAZING with the french fries that came with the Greg Norman burger (1/2 lb. wagyu beef patty, arugula, their house buttermilk dill, and bleu cheese), though the burger was nothing memorable. We washed it all down with a couple of beers (try the Golden Monkey triple Belgian!) and then decided to split a milkshake. The birthday cake shake actually comes with a piece of cake on top of the glass, and it's pretty good!
The pricing was a bit steep (a little over $80 for everything), but we knew that heading to Downtown Disney. My +1 and I had a great experience overall, but I had to dock 2 stars mainly for the lack of privacy and a little for...
