WonderGround Gallery — Local services in Anaheim

The artwork here is amazing and there is a lot of pieces that are reasonably placed with others that are more expensive. The art pieces are unique and have a creative perspective. unfortunately my issue came with trying to get sketches done from the artist that was there that day. My husband and I waited for over 10 minutes while the artist was busy socializing with another co-worker and they had yet to even acknowledge our presence. They saw us there several times and still continued to talk instead of ask us what we needed as we were clearly standing in line near the catalog ready to have a piece done. so as we sat there waiting for them to finish socializing so that we could talk to the artist about this piece, we got to be entertained with conversations about employees that no longer work at Disney for stealing supplies and other gossip. After an additional 10 minutes and going to the front about our questions and them referring us back to the artist, we obviously left empty-handed. so unfortunately while I agree with many people on these reviews about the artwork being of great quality and interpretation, I wholeheartedly agree with some of the other viewers where customer service is definitely not a priority here. So as long as you don't need something special this is your place to go, it's definitely worth a look around. Anything further you might run into some issues. Wonderground is Disney's art gallery that features artists that draws with Disney inspired art pieces. Having purchased giclée from the gallery, their professionalism is comparable to "real" art galleries. Prices are quite reasonable, especially for limited edition prints. Although many pieces are available through the Disney online store, we still prefer seeing pieces in person as sometimes the intricate details drawn by the artists cannot otherwise be appreciated. The only issue with purchasing large pieces from the store directly is transportation, but fortunately, Wonderground is able to ship pieces anywhere in the US. Smaller pieces make wonderful gifts as some comes matted and only require the purchase of a standard sized frame to make a complete a wall decoration. Other print formats like postcard and t-shirts are also available at the store. Unfortunately I had a very poor experience here. I was looking forward to ordering/purchasing an artist sketch from this store. I circled back through the evening at several times and the artist was not out in the store ever. I asked other employees if I could leave a name/number or fill out an order sheet to leave for the artist and they said they didn’t have those. No other solutions were offered or given.
