Wish I could give zero stars. I purchased a package that was a mailer supposedly containing a pop up paper flower bouquet with instructions. I took the envelope from the stack and it was sealed. My friends told me that when they received it, the instructions were in the package but not the flowers. It turns out that whoever set up the display resealed the mailer and put it with the other mailers.

When I returned to Hallmark, the manager never left the storeroom, never apologized and just handed me the pop up. I asked if I could just take a different package so I could have a mailer. She said “No, that I hadn’t bought that.” I pointed out that it wasn’t my fault the package was empty, that I would have to pay to mail it again, and I didn’t think I should have to purchase a mailer.

At first, she tried to give me a large, plain cardboard gift bag holder that was 3x too big and wasn’t really a mailer. When I told her it was too big, she gave me an envelope that was twice as big and told me it was the best she could do for me.

I really feel like I deserved an apology and a replacement. The manager was dismissive...

I purchased an ornament here last Friday. I called them today to talk with them about returning it and Yvonne (the manager) proceeded to tell me I could not return it but could only exchange it. She said that it is stated on the receipt, which is pointless because you only view the receipt AFTER you purchase it. I told her my situation and how I needed to return and she said the same line then proceeded to hang up on me. Didn’t even get a chance to purchase anything from the Pandora counter because the woman wouldn’t acknowledge my presence. She was more than happy to chat with the woman she was helping before me and once that woman said she had more shopping to do the Pandora attendant turned her back and completely ignored me. She then turned around 2-3 more times to do stuff and still didn’t acknowledge me, not even to say “one moment”/“hello”/ nothing. We were the only 2 black people in the store so not sure if that made a difference or she had another reason to ignore us and refuse...
