I was excited to try SipCha when I stumbled upon it going to another store a few weeks ago. It hadn't opened yet and I was actually the one to add it to Google maps! I'm from NJ/NY and have tried my fair share of boba places, including several in NYC.
This is a clean, hip, bubble tea and rolled ice cream place. A bit pricey. $12.28 for 2 bubble teas. Not a long menu but lots of creative/ different options. My biggest complaint is that I needed to spend 5 minutes discussing the menu with the barista. "What's in the All About Sunshine?" The menu items are not self explanatory. I'd recommend the owner create menu cards with a better description of menu items that customers can review when waiting in line.
Dairy free milk options include: Soy and almond milk. All teas can be made dairy free but for the Milk cap tea you will have to get it without the milk cap. I got a Dragon in a bottle without milk cap, husband got Matcha power (regular sweetness, which was pretty sweet and didn't have a strong matcha flavor). Both were pretty good with a pretty presentation.
There are about 7 tables to sit at.
I'd say the biggest competitor to this place is Kung Fu Tea in Cary which I think does a great job with tons of flavor options.
I'd like to see the prices go down a bit in order to make this a more go-to place for us in the future. Also the owner should consider giving out loyalty stamp cards where you can get a free drink after your...

Awesome place! I go to every bubble tea place I found on the map and they are one of the kind.
My favorite is ki-wa-ii. It's a kiwi green tea yakult (yakult is some kind of japanese yogurt drink). I has a refreshing taste and all of my friends agreed this is their best!
They always put a lot of FRESH fruits! I was so surprised when I see plenty of fresh peaches when I get the peach blossom. Ki-wa-ii as well. I always end up bring it home and dig out all the kiwi, which is really satisfying.
Their Boba is super super fresh as well. It literally tastes like freshly made, the texture is so different from all other place I have ever visit. If you like boba, definitely give it a try.
Their tea are also really flavorful. I highly recommend their Oolong tea! (However if you are not used to strong tea flavor, try to avoid it and start from something else)
Quick note, even if you do online order, they sometimes don't start making the drink until you show up and let them know you are here. Maybe because they use fresh fruits? I have no idea, but worth noting in case you...
Read moreWe are regulars at Sipcha at this point and have talked to the owner every time we stop by. The customer service is miles above any other bubble tea place in the area and the friendly atmosphere differentiates Sipcha from competitors in itself. Regardless, many of the bubble tea shops in the area are chains and use a lot of things that I personally do not like like powdered milk and a lot of powders in general which result in overly sweet and/or very heavy drinks. Sipcha can take some time in their orders especially when they are busy but that is due to them not using many powders or sweeteners and making most of their drinks from scratch They buy a lot their fruit locally, they have shown me the coffee grinds they use, and they often come up with be seasonal drinks based on what fruits are in season. They can be a bit pricier then some of the other bubble tea shops in the area but the drinks are completely worth every penny! They are by far the best bubble tea area thus far in the triangle; I would recommend the peach blossom if anyone is looking for...
