My co-workers & I would give this particular Qdoba location a ZERO if it was an option. Lunch was ordered for 12 people, & when it was picked up, only 4 out of the 12 meals were there. The person picking up the food didn't realize it, b/c the 12 chips/salsa bags were there, & he just thought that THOSE were entrees, too, since the burritos that our group ordered could easily fit into one of those bags. After calling the restaurant & speaking to Devonte, I was told that there was a miscommunication at the To Go counter b/c 2 bags of our food were still up there, & the person ringing up the order the first time didn't realize it, which is why those orders were left behind. Devonte completely admitted it was the fault of the staff, apologized & said to come back & the bags would still be there (getting cold). I asked on the phone how we would know whose food belonged to who, b/c the 4 entrees we actually DID receive didn't have names on them, and for 12 people trying to figure out who ordered what is a time consuming headache. I was told that the receipt had numbers next to each item, & those numbers would be written on the wrapping of the food. I asked to please not to forget to include the receipt with the numbers.....& sure enough - no receipt. Just a bunch of food with random numbers written all over them an hour & a half later than we scheduled the pickup when ordered online yesterday! Nothing was done to make up for the carelessly sloppy way this entire order was handled or the time the staff wasted for us - all for some very cold food. The Qdoba Family/Corporation should be ashamed of this particular franchise for nonchalantly accepting such carelessly pathetic...
Read moreJust for a little background information: I work as a Support Rep for a Nation wide company. I cover about ¼ of North Carolina as a business territory and work with 2 sales reps in this area. My team is made up of about 120 support people who cover similar size regions across the US. We cater lunches for clients at a rate of between once a week to once a day, depending on what is happening within the organization. These lunches can host between 10 and 120 people. My lunch today cost just below $350, so one would think that this would be of some reasonable worth to the business preparing the meal I was excited to have found a catering option that would help diverge from the standard Panera and Chick Fil A lunches that seem to be the most requested. The inclusion of the “impossible meats” as an option would definitely help appease the growing number of vegetarians in my line of business. However, this has been by far the worst catering experience I’ve had in some time. Not only was the ordering process online a nightmare, but after paying extra for soft and hard tortillas, none were provided. No chips were included. The 50/50 split of rice was not included. There was a very long black hair in the queso. None of the “liquid” bearing items were wrapped in a way to hold in the fluids (except the hairy queso). Messes occasionally happen, but the missing items are not acceptable. More so, being hung up on repeatedly when calling for a solution and then having no outlet but an email for resolution is...
Read moreWhile I have been a raving fan of Qdoba and its tasty, high-quality food since the day this location opened, my last visit there was simply bizarre. This was Friday, August 5, when five of us arrived for a birthday lunch.I noticed the new Surf & Turf bowl and asked a female employee if it could be made quesadilla-style for me. She said "sure" andput it all together for me. Just before she was going to put it on their griddle, another female employee questioned if it was allowed because of allergen concerns. I said that if that was a problem, I would be happy to simply eat it unheated. Then a man bolted out from the rear kitchen and made her trash the quesadilla! Again, I said "no don't trash it, it's fine like that for me!" but this guy just ignored me and forced the employee to trash the entire quesadilla. I respect allergen concerns, but the shrimp are right there on the line of various other ingredients and are not treated in any exceptional manner. The female employees were totally nice throughout all this and one of them mentioned that the man is Mark. So Qdoba management, please address this with Mark as soon...
