Beatnik Betty's Resale Butik — Local services in Appleton

I've always enjoyed looking around and shopping at this store but recently my family and I were trying to downsize and sell some items. The offer we received was honestly disappointing but we took it, needing the cash and understanding that as a small local shop, they could only pay so much and we assumed that it would be a fair percentage of their final selling price. Now seeing the items being listed for sale, we now know that the offer given to us was only 17% of the sale price. This is disappointing to say the least as other similar BST stores are upfront about their cash offers being ~30% of their sales prices. We decided to take a chance on a local store that we loved despite them not being upfront about their rates anywhere on their website. I understand that they are not required to match the offers of other stores and being a local small business, they do not necessarily have the budget to give big offers, but I wish there was more transparency on their end about how they go about pricing/giving offers. Awesome store! I guarantee if you haven't been, you DEFINITELY need to go! The adult clothing selection is amazing and the prices are rock bottom. I can't see how they stay in business! I drove over an hour to visit and wasn't disappointed. Was helped by a lovely girl and she showed me everything I needed. My clothes looked and fit so well it's like they were custom made....
