Helena's — Local services in Arlington

Really disappointed with the experience I had at Helena's today. I have shopped there many times and was really surprised that there was not an exception made for a return. I feel this is poor customer service. I bought a bracelet for a friend several months ago and it was too big for her. I went to return it today and was told that I couldn't return it as there is a 2 week return policy and the policy is explained on the receipt. The staff member could tell that I was surprised and disappointed when I explained that I didn't read the fine print on the receipt and was unaware of the policy. No effort was made to double check this with the owner or manager to see if an exception could be made. While I feel stores should always take returns, no matter what the time frame is, they should at least clearly explain the policy on a sign near the check out area and not assume customers are going to...

I have been shopping at Helena's for a while now and I love their clothing. The store offers some unique brands which set them apart from the mall for sure. Prairie Underground is a favorite of mine. Helena's has amazing accessories, Pixie Mood bags are no my go to, I'm obsessed. Their scarves are so pretty that I now have 5! There is always someone willing to help when you get in a styling rut. This is a great store with some very elegant, yet reasonably priced items. The staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful. The store is very spacious, but it also feels warm and cozy. I was there to record video for a women's group, and it was cool to see how much the women gathered there loved the selection. I wish that men's clothing were as interesting and that there were stores like...
