This Ingles is brand spankin' new so it's clean enough in there to do open heart surgery right on the floor. The products are always stocked and there are a very wide variety of different choices to select from. This location is very organic friendly with alternative options available in everything from meat to dairy to cereal and even coffee creamer. The fruits and vegetables are of the highest quality and always fresh from the dirt, so Hippies and tree huggers of Asheville rejoice. The only thing I Will say is don't shop here unless you can afford to spend a little extra, because it definitely isn't cheap. So don't come here expecting great deals or seeking a thrifty shopping experience. I give this Ingles a solid five out of five. Siskel and Ebert say two thumbs way, way up. Assistant manager is extremely rude. Had an 8$ bottle of milk that was curdled when I opened it. Didn’t keep the receipt but brought my card that I paid with walked in older heavyset woman I believe her name was ronewa cassie or something close. I kindly asked if there was a way to get a refund with the card and no receipt. Very annoyed, and literally walking away as I’m trying to speak, tells me to just grab another one. I, having to follow her, explain that I’m on the go and won’t be able to store it properly so that is why I wanted to do a return instead. I love this store! It is always clean, well stocked and I can find what I need. I drive 30 minutes from my home to come to this store, passing many many other stores I could shop at. However, when I spend 600$ in the store and I even self check (which I am happy to do) I do not expect to stand at the self check for 10 minutes waiting because your cashier is on FACEBOOK! THAT IS THE WORST! I understand we live in the day and time when employees can do as they please because no one wants to work and corporations are all about diversity, inclusion, mental health days and what not But If your on the floor GET OFF YOUR PHONE AND HELP...
