Ace Hardware of Aspen — Local services in Aspen

Only two stars because you might get someone who is really helpful or you might get treated like you are the worst thing to happen to them. First several trips were fine then I stopped and bought some yeti coolers and rambler cups. I’m be of the cups did not have the top seal on it and the old guy with long grey hair was as rude as you can be without screaming at someone. Would not allow one of the seals from the other cups to be used (I bought the last one in the color I wanted). I ended up buying another whole lid and seal. The employee made the experience as negative as it could be, too bad there are not a lot of options near here because it would not take much to...

Probably one of the most interesting interactions I’ve ever had with an employee of a business, I know it’s hard to get good help but whenever somebody ask you how you’re doing, just staring at them and not responding isn’t a great way to go about things. Subpar customer service at best. This place has a decent selection of goods. And fair prices considering it’s in the middle of Aspen.

Also don’t be sarcastic, and say “now get out of my life” after you hand over a receipt. That’s rude.

Weird...

BEWARE OF "FREE" ITEMS. These guys put a car mat on the same rack as some free filters. It deffinatly made it seem like it was a giveaway. Weeks later they give us a call saying it wasn't free that was a mistake and we owe them money for the mat. Been going there for years and they go out of their way to call us and say WE should have known better and that we ruined said employees lunch. (Which is unprofessional I'd be fired at my work if I said something like that)
