Update: Joselyn (district manager, maybe) called me after reading this review and made things right. I appreciate the customer service once I expressed my disappointment. It sounds like a miscommunication between the front desk and DM on refunds.
Previous Review: I am disappointed in the customer service and the owner. I just ended my six-month membership.
On Saturday, the front desk lady asked if it was okay to charge my credit card again because her page didn’t refresh, even though I showed her my pending charge on my credit card app. I asked if I’d been charged twice, would I be refunded the $75? She said yes, but she would need to talk to the owner. She promised to call me on Saturday to update me on the status. No call.
Well, today, I received a notification that I was charged twice on my credit card, and I called to request my promised refund. I was placed on hold twice since the phone line cut off after being put on hold for over 15 minutes. After calling again a second time, I was informed that the company owner will NOT give me a refund; however, she can give me store credit. That’s stealing!
You have been warned! Make sure you pay by credit card so if Dermani MEDSPA page doesn’t “refresh” when you are checking out and they make you pay again; your credit card company can...
Read moreJust came in for a chemical peel and it was a 10/10. I used to go to the Buckhead location so I’m very excited to have one closer to me. Will probably start my membership back up! Staff is friendly and took their time with me!
*An update after 10 months, 2 visits, and $300+ in “credit”.
My last visit to this location was subpar. I left after having a facial with makeup still on the perimeter of my face. I will use my remaining credits at another location.
I’ve updated my review to reflect the process of cancellation with this business. I initially was told that I shouldn’t cancel because I was within my 6 month commitment and would be charged if I were to cancel early. That was annoying but understandable. I called to cancel after the 6 month commitment and was told again that canceling wouldn’t be in my benefit as I had credit. This credit of $300 would be forfeited if I cancelled; freezing my account would be a better option as it would allow me to keep and use my credit and not be charged. As appealing as this sounds, previously, this was not the case with Dermani. You could cancel and use your credits. I feel like they’re forcing me to keep the membership when I truly want to cancel. I will not be rejoining this company’s membership again and would not...
Read moreI enrolled in the monthly LHR membership under a signed agreement that the monthly rate would be $150 with a six month commitment.
After receiving my second treatment, I was notified after the appointment that the price has increased to $200 per month and an additional $50 was due at check-out with no prior notification or written communication.
After reviewing my membership agreement, it does not clearly state that pricing may change during the initial six-month commitment and implies the current rate advertised on the effective date (April 30th) would remain available during the life of the membership.
I reached out via email with my concern on June 5th and have not yet heard back.
I have really enjoyed the staff at SummerHill and I hope Dermani is able to honor the original pricing agreed upon for the remainder of my...
