Stopped by here to grab a quick treat for later. This is a cute little bakeshop with a lot of yummy looking goodies. Although the shop is tiny, it's cozy-feeling and I spied some people working on their laptops. Seems like a good space to work if you like the vibes! Pretty sure they serve coffee here, too. At the very least, they have an abundance of both sweet and savory pastries. The individual who took my order at the cashier was very pleasant and it didn't take long for me to be in and out. Quick and professional service. I selected a chocolate pistachio croissant after seeing so many pretty pictures and glowing reviews. It was a good choice! Very flaky bread, the chocolate hadn't hardened too much, and there was also a gooey, sweet pistachio filling that sort of reminded me of baklava. I only wish there'd been a little more chocolate, or that they'd managed to combine the chocolate and pistachio filling because as it was they were pretty separated in the pastry. Still, would definitely order again, and would happily try any of the other pastries for sale, too.

Celiac and gluten intolerant review My family has Celiac so I'm always leaving reviews for families like ourselves that struggle to find safe places to eat. Especially my little girl who struggles to be "normal" among her friends. I wanted to love this place. The regular food items were good and their drinks were good having been here previously on my own. However I was the only one who could eat, leaving my daughter in tears when we tried bringing her. Things I didn't notice last time: Lack of protocol for changing gloves & since we came specifically for their GF items, I need to leave an honest review. Do not visit this bakeshop if you have an allergy or Celiac. There's a ton of cross contamination & unfortunately the lovely barista never changed her gloves, touching coffee items, and then baked goods. I DO recommend this for regular patrons who don't have an auto immune disease. Like I said, I wanted to love this place cause it's so cute but unfortunately my family cannot eat from here ever.

I love it here. Vibes: cinematic styling of coffee shop with great morning sunlight. Gold & Green is calming and modern. A millennials dream. Seating: Parisian style marble bistro tables enough for a duet of plates and cups. Please do not squeeze 4 people on these little round tables lol Pastries : TOP TIER Croissants!! My fave is the praline escargot (it’s like grandmas southern pecan pie baked into a croissant roll up). The variety.*chefs kiss*. The Flavor combinations *chefs kiss* — items run out fast so get here early on weekends. beverages : delicious coffee. Quality tea selection (however — Grant park location has the loose tea offering which I prefer but I understand this smaller space cannot accommodate all the extra little pieces) ** note: if there is a looooong line ….be courteous if you are waiting in line— keep the door closed and wait to come inside**

Gross Incompetence by the staff and management at this place. First off, pastries are good. Nothing bad to say about them. The problem is that the line moves slower than a snail stuck in molasse. The staff lacks any brain power to figure out how to make the line more efficient. We waited for 25 minutes for about ten parties ahead of us to order pastries and coffee on a Saturday morning. This is obviously peak time. There had to be at least 15 employees in the shop, but only 1 working the register. And they picked the slowest person to operate the register BTW. The place needs to have the most efficient person working the register, 2 people bagging/plating pastries, and 2 others making drinks in real time. Instead, it was one person working the register, taking forever to ring people up, and then meandering around to pour coffee and bag the pastries by themselves. This might work well on a Tuesday afternoon, but peak time, SMH. Management is leaving big money on the table and making customers never want to return. I watched at least 3 parties get in line, wait for 2 minutes, not see the line move, and...
