My wife and I visited to look at dining chairs. During our visit, I took down my mask because I became hot, I was not near other customers or any customer service representatives. About 10 seconds later an employee yelled from across the store saying I need to put my mask on. I was in the wrong so I complied. I was just trying to get some air. As we continued to shop, we spent about 10 minutes shopping in the area that the employee who yelled across the store was working in. The whole time we were shopping he did not greet us or ask if we needed anything. I was surprised by the fact that he could give a mask reminder but not ask us if we needed assistance with our shopping, so I greeted him. I let him know that I wanted to give him feedback on the fact that he could yell across the store to give a mask reminder but not ask if we needed anything. It was just my opinion and I was willing to leave it at that but he informed me that he was the general manager and that it was not his job to greet customers. Of course, I disagreed with him and let him know that he should be the example of customer service for those he is responsible for. At this point, he had enough of me and closed his computer, stood up, and walked away from me. I have never had a service rep just walk away from me and certainly not a general manager. This is inexcusable. Needless to say, I will not return to design within reach and I encourage you not to give business to a company that treats its customers in...

They sent me a quote of for a fairly expensive item that I was thinking about purchasing. I was supposed to let them know about my final decision on purchasing the item. I never ever authorized them to use my card on the file but within a few days I see theyāve charged my card for that item! Unbelievable! Never gave them permission to use my card. Never said I decided to go through with the purchase. They didnāt even send me the receipt , NOTHING!! The General manager of this store, John Waymire, took no responsibility and didnāt even apologize. This place is a fraud, the people who work there are no help. The most irresponsible dismissive people ever. I even called their costumer service and their corporate and I still have not received my money back. The money that I didnāt want to spend. Iām going to have to dispute the transaction through my bank. Itās been more than a month now. This is SO unethical and unprofessional, such a bad picture for their brand. Our issue remains open from several months ago. Response from DWR below led to NO RESOLUTION and DWR seems Intent on bilking me for over $500 on an order exceeding $15,000. - STEER CLEAR OF THIS STORE!!!
Chair arrived damaged, delivery firm said nothing and left the scene. We call the store and after 8 attempts, they agree to pick it up but wait 3 weeks. We also discover they misrepresented the internal dimensions of a media console and that needs to be picked up as well as nothing fits.
3 weeks later they pick up both pieces and charge us over $500 for re-stocking and pickup fees as refuse to take them off our bill!!!!!!
Over 3 mos now and still no replacement for the chair that arrived damaged.
For a high-end furniture house my expectations are a tad higher than this result. Read all the other low ratings. That should tell you something. Are these firms in such poor financial condition that they canāt do the right thing? They lost my business. Iāll take my $15,000 elsewhere like Bo Concept.
Go to Bo Concept. Way better experience. Excellent danish hand-crafted products....
