I went to the salon to get tips and a pedicure. They will never have me as a customer again. A Latino woman name Fancy ( the manager says thatâs her real nameđđ¤ˇđžââď¸) was assigned to do my feet and completely mishandled my feet giving me scratches to the white meat and causing me to bleed. I immediately stopped her from causing any further damage. While she sat there looking stuck on stoopid, No one apologized not even the owner/manager. (Until I grilled him tward the end of finishing my hands) Instead I had to tell the bytch to move and not further touch me and find someone n else to do my nails. I asked for a first aid kit in order to treat my bleeding foot which was in plain sight behind the register. ( see pictures) and I was handed a cotton swab with alcohol and a bandaid. Not the first aid kit to treat the cut myself. I then had to wait a further 20 min to get assistance from someone else to finish the service. Again. Received no remorse or apology from ANYONE. (Shay until later on n it was not genuine) I USED to come here quite often when I lived in midtown and never had an issue. Actually received superb service even offered a cocktail when entering or as I was seated at pedicure station (NOT THIS TIME but whatever đ) So this is why when I was in the area again and had the money to spend (IYKYK they not cheap vs the average nail salon in stn mtn or norcross). After this experience they wonât have to worry about me again. Ladies n Gents be careful who you let care for you. Because even with the open wound they still tried to immerse my cut foot back in the newly contaminated basin. Throughout all of this no apology not even from the bytch in Spanish or sign language . Not from anyone in any language not even English. If this isnât on the house yall know how this is gonna go. So I waited until I got to the tail end of of the Owner/manager completing my nails to speak calmly n rationally about my experience. Meanwhile, there was a hood, booger, and another pedicure station going off about her nails, and asking someone to remove the full set after the full set was placed on her nails and completed. Throughout all of this, I did not receive any remorse. Any apology until I asked him or expressed to him how important and apology was. Just beware the only one that I would feel comfortable with and thatâs salon is Sunny But now, because of this experience, I wouldnât go back even for...
Read moreI went to Nail Talk & Tan on a Thursday for the first and last time. I went for a new set of SNS nails and Wendy was my suppose to be nail tech. My initial visit, I had to soak off a few nails. Wendy went to file them down, I asked to soak off instead. She had the audacity to tell me, âI donât wantâ. I explained to her, âitâs not what you want, Iâm paying you for the service I wantâ. TF!! She wrapped them in foil (angrily). Wendy barely put primer on, I asked if thatâs enough? Then when she dipped them I told her thatâs going to be too thin. She continued. Friday afternoon, I called from my gate at the airport to let them know that 8 nails were chipped. Don told me to come back and let them fix. Upon my return Wendyâs attitude was even more funky. She snatched my hand and worked on them kind of harsh. I always get square square shaped nails. She tells me that my nails were too short and for me to âbe carefulâ đł. Needless to say, the photos show 2days AFTER my second visit. Iâd like half of my money back for a half ssa job. Iâm not sure if Wendy recently came to the US or fresh out of school, but somethings need to be reiterated to her, such as CUSTOMER SERVICE and application of service. Please and thank you. The only thing I apologize for is going there in the first place and to...
Read moreI used to go to this salon for years, but after moving back to the area, Iâve noticed a decline in their customer service. I requested a simple manicure and pedicureâno polish, just bufferingâand was shocked when the total came out to $70. On top of that, the staff frequently speak/talk about customers in their native language and persistently try to upsell services, even after being told no multiple times. Thing is, you don't know who speaks your language in today's world.
During my visit, a flying cockroach literally passed between me and the nail tech, which was beyond unsettling. To make matters worse, one of the nail techs accused me of âalways coming late,â even though this was my first time arriving at that timeâclearly, they had me mistaken for someone else.
Itâs disappointing because this place was once a convenient option, but it no longer feels like they genuinely care about serving...
