The Loft — Local services in Atlanta

The best experience so far from all the venues housed in this one building!!! Of course I would be at LION BABE’s second show in Atlanta. I was in the building last year for the first tour and I enjoyed every moment of it!!! I knew what to expect and I had the upper hand over many patrons since they hadn’t seen them in concert before.

Parking was a breeze because I knew what to expect, but it wasn’t for some, because when the concert was over many people had boots on their cars. There were all kinds of signs saying parking rules is strictly enforced and Parking Authority comes through and check each car on the regular, so I don’t know why they still got caught up?!?

The entrance to The Loft is the golden door in the front. We stood at the door and didn’t realize you had to form a line along the sidewalk. The line got pretty long and it seemed more people came out to this concert than last year!!! The weather was inclement but it let up just enough for us to get in the building and poured down raining after the show was over!!!

I met a cool chick waiting in line her name was Ty and we ended up enjoying the show together and exchanging contact info. Now that I’m getting older in life I can chat with anyone about anything. How does the saying go, “I haven’t met a stranger recently!”

The vibe was really relaxed and this was an alternative crowd, you would have called them “weird” in high school(I was considered weird myself in high school, among other things). With this crowd, you can be sure there was no rambunctiousness.

There were two opening acts, Neilá and DJ Ree de la Vega. Both were exceptional and set the tone for the headliners. There was a slight pause between the sets, but once LION BABE hit the stage none of that mattered and we were focused on them!!!!

They put on another AMAZING SHOW like last year. They sung the whole new album, Cosmic Wind, and added some of their signatures like “Jump Hi” and “Treat Me Like Fire”. I danced and sung to every song since they are my favorite band. The bad weather didn’t stop the vibe or anything, everyone still had a great time!!!

I was on a high after the show like last year, but to top my high off was I actual met Neilá and LION BABE at an after hours eating spot. I could not believe my eyes and couldn’t stop gushing and praising them all for a great show!!! I was able to let each of them know I was a fan for life and I enjoyed EVERYTHING about the show!!!

Just writing this brings back some many great memories of that night and I still tripping on. I gave this venue 5 stars because they had a lounge area in the back for people to sit on, which was perfect for my mother because she couldn’t stand up the whole time.

The security shooed everyone out the venue after the show but he saw my mother still sitting down and he offered to personal take up down to the car through the employee elevator. We thanked him profusely because it was a long way down if you came in the way we did. This whole experience was nothing but GREAT!!! I can’t wait for the next LION...

Hadn't been in a decade, huge upgrade from memories.

Concert was sold out, but there seemed to be a comfortable enough amount of space. No complaints about the venue. Might be a different experience at a rowdier show, instead of a mellow crowd.

Wild Child was phenomenal!!

Don't even have words, only wish I was still there.

The only thing that seemed off was that it feels awkwardly sad they have bands selling merchandise by the bathroom.

Seems like it would make more sense to remove or swap out a couch rather than have an incredible band forced to watch everyone rush in & out of the bathroom after a show while the headliner's merch table gets swarmed. Stinks if it's the only place to set up.

Besides that, the event was perfect.

The show was so brilliant, totally forgot about parking. Could be wrong, but never remember being forced to walk up the entire parking deck.

While you're distracted by needing to print off a ticket, return back to your car, & pull up your concert ticket without a password reset, there's an unremarkable sign up about needing to call to use the elevator.

It's an elevator... at the bottom of a parking garage. It should be functional for those paying to park.

Entirely needs to be more easily handicap accessible. Tried 2 staircases, both locked. Delightful when we're already being scammed for parking. No warning before/during/after arrival & no proper signage.

At the very, very least, post no public access signs on the locked stairwells. Ridiculously unsafe in an emergency.

Also, who designs a parking kiosk that screams non-stop through the entire parking...

I went to go to the loft but was told the show was at the vinyl. If there's a name change, based on photos I'm finding in reviews, you may want to change that here to not confuse attendees.

I recommend artists to do sound checks way in advance prior to their shows or even booking venues. I saw Jake Hill, Ryan Oaks, JordanxBell, and guccihighwaters last night. Ryan, Jake, and their DJs had a lot of issues with feedback on stage. I'm not sure if it was with some of the facilities equipment or something else. If it falls under the facility I think it would be best they work through troubleshooting this issue. I'd like to see this venue be able to provide the best they can to their clients and to the goers.

Lastly, if you provide cups and water to concert goers and they take a cup of water back to their car. With people needing water to maybe take some medicine. Maybe don't tell them as they leave, "you can take the water but you can't take the cup." Last I was aware, bottles aren't allowed in most venues. If I had to go to my car to get a bottle to put said water, where am I putting the water?!
