Atlantic Corner Cafe — Restaurant in Atlanta

I have never been so surprised by a restaurant. This place is totally quiet and unassuming but the food and service here were better than meals I paid 3x for in downtown. Our omelet was exceptionally fresh, a great portion, and piping hot. The potato salad served with it was amazingly creamy. The coffee was dark and robust - the owner roasts and brews Ethiopian coffee in front of you for goodness sake! The owner runs the front and back of the cafe and her care and attention to her customers is absolutely exceptional. We will make it a point to come back....

If I hadn't gone with someone who already knew about it, I never would have even walked into this place because it certainly doesn't look like it would have great Ethiopian food. I am SO glad I did. Don't even look at the menu on the wall, you want the Ethiopian veggie plate... you can also add chicken (which I usually do) and Awazé (Ethiopian Hot/Pepper Sauce, which I ALWAYS do). The veggie selection changes a little day to day, but I have yet to have anything that wasn't fantastic. I'm so happy I found this place... you won't be...

Love the freshly prepared and cooked food here. The owner Elene is very caring and accommodating my needs.
