Went to famous parking lot sale. Waited for the discounts on and I quote "Open box, as-is, discontinued, closeout, factory re-conditioned, and scratch and dent items." If you look at purple tags it literally says "open-box" in the middle at the top. When I went to the register I watched as the teller weirdly entered the more expensive purple tag item I brought up and called her superior over to ask permission to which they said no that's only for orange tag items. Orange tag items are not the same as purple tag items. Orange tag items are "as-is" items. They refused to give the discount and tried to get me to pay the purple tag price instead of the discount. The funniest thing was the teller then properly scanned the cheap second purple tag item I brought up and the computer magically gave me the additional proper discount automatically. This made me think the only reason they didn't allow the other discount is because they wanted to hold on to the item so they could try to get a higher payment from the next person. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to make things right, and all 3 of the staff had such fun personalities that I found myself giggling with them during the whole process.
