I'm very disappointed in my engagement ring and wedding band from Ropers. We spent a total of $3,000 for both. They were both 14k white gold. One week after purchasing, we noticed a defect (small, but obvious hole) in the gold band on the under side. We brought it in and they said they couldn't fix it and it just made the ring unique and it didn't effect its durability. 2 months later, my white gold band is loosing its shine and is looking more gold than white gold. Fast forward another few months and we get the rings soldered together and they did a VERY sloppy job, the gold they used to solder was all lumpy and not smooth with my ring. Here we are, celebrating our 10th anniversary and I notice my ring feels loose one day and I examine my wedding band and see it just cracked all the way through. This is supposed to be solid gold. I don't do anything crazy, just a stay at home mom. Called and asked if they have any kind of warranty, nope they don't. They make jewelry that's supposed to last a life time but it didn't make it 10 years. I've had Walmart jewelry that held up better and longer. We will not be going to...

Our experience with Roper’s Jewelry was exceptional. Peggy was amazing, professional, kind and treated us as though we were family. We are so thankful that we found a jeweler that we can trust & will use for years to come. We came in to the store with some very precious family heirloom jewelry and stones and needed them set into a custom ring setting. We also had 3 custom necklaces made for Christmas gifts. We also fell in love with 2 rings from their in-store display & purchased for an anniversary gift, which came complete with custom gift wrapping. This store carries gorgeous jewelry and has a huge selection of modern and classic designs. I would highly recommend them for the selection and attention to detail in custom designs. I had my ring sized and they also found the prongs on the diamond had to be replaced. I left the ring and was supposed to pick up 10 days later. 5 days later I got a call that a bunch of the small diamonds were loose and had to be tightened. I approved. We were going to be leaving on vacation and I really needed the ring back. After two more weeks I called and it was going to be at least another week before it was ready. I let them know I was going on vacation and they agreed to put a rush on it. The ring is beautifully shiny and the new size fits well . I'm very happy with the way it came out. My only concern was that it took quite a long time to get it finished but in the end the price was decent the people were very nice and the ring looks great!
