The ice cream was great as usual, the experience not so much. I come into this location often never encountered the manager/owner Angeline. One of the normal girls were helping me and she had scooped my ice cream onto the mixing area. Angeline comes up behind her ask her what ice cream I got I think the girl was confused because she began to say what I was getting mixed into my ice cream Angeline cut her off and asked again what I’ve cream I had, the girl tells her and she proceeded to take another scooper and remove some of the ice cream from what the girl scooped and put it back into the ice cream cooler. I find that weird and a little extra. If she scooped too much explain your preferred scoop sizes after she’s done helping your customers. But, to actually remove some of the ice cream and put it back is crazy. I won’t be back because of the environment she puts her staff in. The ladies and guys are usually friendly and personable when I come in and with her it seemed all of the ladies at the time were walking on egg shells. My husband and I always go during dollar scoop day to get our naughty treats at a discount. I went yesterday and witnessed something positive with one of the employees. Backstory, a few weeks ago I went to a fast food restaurant and saw one of the employees drop something on the floor and pick it back up and put it on the counter to be used with customer food. I had to actually remind that employee to throw it away! When I went to this ColdStone yesterday the girl that was helping me dropped the metal scooper on the floor. She picked it up and put it on the counter. I actually stopped for a second to observe what she was going to actually do. When she finished what she was doing she asked me to excuse her while she got rid of the dirty scooper and went and got a different scooper. She did not have to be reminded and she did not forget like what I've seen in some restaurants.
