Normally, this location is one of my favorites to visit in the mornings before i go into work in the same shopping center, especially because of the good eats and friendly staff, but the experience I had this morning, while not catastrophic, left a bad taste in my mouth.
I came in this morning and ordered my usual, a honey beary bowl with extra granola, and (as i work at a store close by) i asked about the neighbor discount they typically provide for those who work in close proximity. Thats when the person at the window, Noelle, informed me they dont do that discount anymore.
Now this alone did not bother me, she was just honoring store policy and it was what it was, but what she said afterwards rubbed me the wrong way. After denying me the discount, she mentions that she actually fave the person ahead of me the discount i was asking for, because she (and i quote) "felt compelled to."
What? Again, i understand the company not providing the discount anymore, but why then is there asymmetrical treatment among customers where some get it and some dont, regardless of qualifying for the discount? And on top of this, why mention this to the next customer in line???
Ive worked in customer service practically my entire career, and i understand bending the rules for a customer or two, but if youre going to disregard company policy, why mention to the customer after that youll do it for the person ahead but not them? Its genuinely horrible...
Read moreThis is the second time I’ve had a bad experience at this location. The first time, I let it go thinking anyone can have a rough day, but what happened yesterday was just poor service, plain and simple.
I ordered a bowl and was served watermelon pieces that looked and felt like squishies—not fresh at all. I kindly asked them to replace it, especially because I was planning to share it with my baby. They did change it, but their “solution” was to fill the bowl with huge chunks of banana and barely two spoonfuls of açaí. The coconut oil, which is my favorite part of coming here, was nowhere to be seen or tasted.
This place is not cheap, so you’d expect better quality and attention to detail. Unfortunately, that...
Read moreI've never thought to write a review for Juiceland, it's just a regular place I visit that I always thought spoke for itself. But today, I'm writing a review because the team working at Juiceland on 2/21/22 at 2pm is ON POINT. They are crushing it! We order the same kind of smoothie every time we get Juiceland, and always add chocolate chips and ask for it crunchy. Often (regardless of location), we either get no chocolate chips or it's pulverized to dust in the smoothie. Whoever is working there today however, made them PERFECTLY. Crunchy full of chocolate chips, right balance of all the fruits and flavors. Best smoothies we've EVER had from Juiceland. Y'all truly nailed it - thanks for making this Monday...
