David Yurman is not worth the price. I bought my husbands wedding ring here & it just fell apart from simply wearing it at work...in an office...every day. This wasn't a typical wedding band either. It had black diamonds with forged carbon fiber. My husband took it back in to send it off to repair then a few weeks later (the original time they said it would take to repair the ring) they called me & told me they were able to get a new one. I live/work South so it's not easy for me to get to this store after work on a weekday. I took off early to go up there & once I got there they pulled out the wrong ring & tried to give it to me. I told them immediately it wasn't the right one & the worker tried to argue with me telling me it was. Then once I refused to take the ring she was trying to give me she went to the back to retrieve our original, still broken in the bag & never sent off, ring. She pulled it out & then noticed it wasn't the right ring. So then they had to actually send our original ring off which took another 3 weeks to repair. I had to follow up with the store almost daily to find out if the ring was back or not. Upon return, about 3 weeks later, the lines within the ring were completely/apparently ruined. Is there no quality control at the repair studio or even upon it being returned to the store? Why not even inspect the ring before having the customer come in to pick it up? The only solution the store gave us at this point was to return it. Who truly wants to return a wedding ring exchanged during their ceremony? I couldn't help but cry while returning it. The manager never followed up or offer a remedy during this entire process. I was constantly having to follow up. They never even got my name right. Every time I called, it was someone different to talk to & they constantly told me my name wasn't right in the system yet obviously never bothered to change it so they couldn't ever even find the ring or case on file. They didn't seem to care this entire process. I expected more from David Yurman. I even filed a case with corporate & they've yet to get back with me after I followed up multiple times. My family & I are never buying anything from this brand again.
UPDATE: DY corporate finally reached back out to me. They offered my husband a new wedding band and sent me a gift too to make up for their multiple mistakes. Took awhile but either way it was a...
Read moreFirst of all let me say that I am a regular customer here but will no longer be. My husband purchased a pendant for me for Valentines Day right before the Texas Snow Storm. The item he purchased was the exact same one I already owned so I needed to come exchange it. Forget that DY did not extend the time to exchange even though all of Texas was shut down in ice and snow for well over 10 days.. but when I finally am in town and can come in to exchange I explain to the sales person, Brooke Byington, that I have a duplicate item I need to exchange. I stated it clearly. So she looks up my account and sees that I had purchased this item from the previous year and flat out accuses me of lying and trying to pass off the item as new to be exchanged. She was totally condescending, accusatory in tone, and rude in front of other customers!! I was appalled!!! I had just explained that I owned 2 of them!!! And why I was exchanging. I expressed my being upset at the way she accused me of basically trying to steal from the company. I showed her that I was even wearing the other pendant at the time and asked her if she even had listened to me?!? She never apologized, never acted regretful. Just smugly admitted she looked up the wrong account and continued with the transaction. I DO NOT expect to be treated this way by a high end retail store. I will not being back!!! I have better places to spend my money. I like DY but your sales team needs manners and better...
Read moreWe came here around October 2018 looking for a specific wedding band for my husband. When we walked in, we made eye contact with two sales associates who both were not interested in helping us, as they both looked away. I guess they figured we weren't going to buy anything since we weren't dressed all flashy (looks can be deceiving!) They were more interested in the older guy who was in town for "business" and had walked in after us (he ended up not buying anything!) It wasn't until the third sales associate Paul welcomed us that we were helped. We told him we were looking for wedding bands and he took us to look at some bands they had on display but those were cheap and had a very basic look (all gold/black/silver). We were looking for a specific one that we had seen online, a silver one with pave diamonds all around. When we showed it to him, he walked us over to where they had them stored and he let us look through them and try them out. Unfortunately they didn't have my husband's size in stock and since they are custom made it couldn't be sized up/down. He let us know that it was going to take a couple days because it had to be flown in from a different store in France, but to our surprise it arrived early and was here within 2 days. Again thank you Paul for your help! Sorry to the other associates who missed out on helping us, you guys could have made a heck of a...
