During a recent visit, I had the pleasure of experiencing an unexpected culinary gem that masterfully redefined what crepes could be. This establishment doesn’t simply serve crepes — it elevates them into a canvas of bold, imaginative, and well-executed flavor combinations. I sampled three standout creations: the Banana and Strawberry Crepe, the Chicken Carbonara Crepe, and the Philly Cheesesteak Crepe — each offering a distinct and memorable flavor journey.
Banana and Strawberry Crepe This classic sweet crepe was anything but ordinary. The crepe itself was delicate and thin, with a lightly crisped edge and a buttery, slightly sweet bite that melted effortlessly on the tongue. The bananas were perfectly ripe, adding a mellow creaminess, while the strawberries provided a fresh, tangy contrast. A generous drizzle of chocolate and a whisper of powdered sugar tied the entire dish together without overwhelming the fruit’s natural sweetness. Simple, elegant, and indulgent — a dessert crepe done to perfection.
Chicken Carbonara Crepe This was the most surprising dish of the trio — a luxurious, savory crepe that rivals high-end pasta plates in depth of flavor. The chicken was tender and seasoned with care, while the carbonara sauce was rich, creamy, and well-balanced, with just enough smokiness from the bacon to add depth without becoming too salty. The crepe shell provided a satisfying texture that held everything together, and the inclusion of sautéed onions and herbs added a subtle aromatic layer. It's a dish that could easily be served in a bistro — refined, hearty, and incredibly satisfying.
Philly Cheesesteak Crepe A bold twist on a comfort food classic. This crepe was generously filled with juicy strips of beef, grilled onions, and melted cheese that clung to every bite in the best way possible. The crepe managed to stay light and tender, contrasting beautifully with the richness of the filling. What stood out most was the balance — it was flavorful without being greasy, with just the right amount of seasoning to enhance the traditional Philly elements. It was creative, familiar, and deliciously crave-worthy.
What truly impressed me was not just the execution of each dish, but the unexpected range of available flavor combinations — from sweet, fruit-forward profiles to indulgent savory pairings that felt both inventive and comforting. It’s rare to find a place that delivers equally well on both ends of the sweet-savory spectrum, and even rarer to be consistently surprised with every bite.
Strawberry Matcha — a perfectly balanced drink that’s as beautiful as it is delicious. The earthy depth of the matcha blends seamlessly with the bright sweetness of fresh strawberry, creating a refreshing, layered flavor profile. It’s not overly sweet, and the quality of the matcha shines through. A surprisingly refined beverage that complements their menu wonderfully. Highly recommended!
This was more than a meal — it was a reminder that crepes can be a versatile, gourmet experience. Without question, a five-star experience from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore flavors beyond the ordinary. I genuinely...
Read moreI had a delightful experience at Sweet Paris Creperie & Cafe, and I wanted to highlight some of my personal favorites. Among them, the Bonne maman, Nordic crepe, and Philly cheesesteak crepe stood out as exceptional choices.
The Bonne maman crepe was a delicious treat, filled with their flavorful fruit preserves. The delicate crepe and the combination of sweet ingredients created a burst of delightful flavors that I thoroughly enjoyed.
The Nordic crepe offered a unique and Nordic-inspired flavor experience. The smoky and rich salmon paired perfectly with the tangy dill sour cream, resulting in a savory and refreshing combination that left a lasting impression.
As for the Philly cheesesteak crepe, it brought a creative twist to the classic sandwich. The delicate crepe served as a light and thin outer layer that beautifully complemented the hearty and flavorful ingredients. It was a delicious and satisfying choice that I would highly recommend.
In addition to the crepes, we had the opportunity to try other delicious dishes at Sweet Paris Creperie & Cafe. The savory crepe with ham and mozzarella was a standout. The combination of flavors was wonderful, with the creamy and savory mozzarella perfectly complementing the tender ham. It was a delightful and satisfying choice.
The Panini pesto ham and gruyere was another delicious treat that left us craving for more. The flavors of the pesto, ham, and gruyere came together beautifully, creating a mouthwatering combination.
We also sampled the chicken Alfredo and chicken carbonara dishes, both of which were well-executed. The generous portions of grilled tender chicken combined with creamy sauces resulted in rich and satisfying flavors. They provided a comforting and indulgent dining experience.
To accompany our crepes and other dishes, we enjoyed a side salad. The salad was a refreshing and light accompaniment that balanced out the flavors and textures of the main dishes. It showcased the attention to detail in presenting a well-rounded meal experience.
Overall, my experience at Sweet Paris Creperie & Cafe was enjoyable. The restaurant offers a diverse menu with delicious sweet and savory crepes. The culinary offerings cater to a variety of tastes and demonstrate the restaurant's commitment to providing a variety of tasty options. The ambiance is charming and provides a warm and comfortable environment for spending quality time with loved ones. However, it's important to note that during peak times, the restaurant can get quite crowded, which may result in a shortage of available chairs. In our case, we had to find chairs ourselves and even rearrange them. Additionally, there was a minor inconvenience of running out of forks, but overall, these were small issues worth mentioning. Considering all factors, I would rate Sweet Paris Creperie & Cafe four...

But it is well overpriced for what you get. The quality of food and drink is much more to be desired. Came for breakfast on Valentine’s Day, the cashier lady was nice and after my:”Happy Valentine’s Day!” had a great smile. I ordered a salmon crepe and Nutella latte. The barista guy started doing my drink while we were still talking with the lady, and him frothing the milk was so loud, I, literary, couldn’t hear or speak. If baristas don’t know the correct technique of preparing the drinks, it makes sense to wait for a customer to finish their order or move the coffee machine away from the register…. Needless to say, the milk was watery and not pleasant in terms of latte milk.
The food took 15-17 mins to be prepared, kinda long for almost empty place. Crepe was just ok, half empty though, so I ended up just eating plain crepe in the end. Dill used is dry, not fresh, not great for my taste. Salad that came with it was disgusting, so I couldn’t eat it after I found out some slimy leaves.
Can’t talk much about the service after leaving the register, apparently, you need to grab your own utensils and everything else, while the tip prompt starts at 25%, which is a joke to me for almost self-serve establishment.
I would gladly take my money back if I...
