Approachable, sincere, knowledgeable, patient, polite, respectful..traits that a consumer used to take for granted, now, more often than not, a distant memory of how retail used to be. Enter Zadok. The first time I ventured into the store, I was greeted by multiple sales associates. A little background on me, I love watches. Since my first seiko 30+ years ago, I have always had a time piece on my wrist. I own dozens of proper pieces ranging from Japanese to German and everything in between. Needless to say, when I walked into Zadok, I was like a kid in a candy shop or better yet, a watch nerd in heaven! The brands were all displayed beautifully with knowledgeable workers eager to show off the exquisite works of art. I swung by JLC, eager to try on a master moonphase for the first time, which did not disappoint. I then headed over to Panerai, as I was mulling over the purchase of a used 111. Throughout this whole quest of deciding what would be my next acquisition, I was treated with utmost patience and respect. I then went to Tudor and was blown away by all the pieces that were displayed perfectly, not cramped in a small display, but brilliantly laid out depending on function and esthetic. I went to Rolex last, where I did the usual thing.. pine over watches that are almost impossible to get. I have always wanted 3 Rolex watches, the gmt Pepsi, an explorer, and an explorer 2. After looking at a couple watches, Sam, my associate graciously asked me if I wanted to make a list and set up an account. I laughed and said sure, as I have done this several times at other retailers. Seeing how I already owned an explorer, I added my name for an explorer 2 and the Pepsi. I left the store feeling great, so happy with my experience and now deciding between a master moonphase or black bay 54 and maybe an iwc mark xx. I had made up my mind that in July, after I returned from a vacation I would purchase the jlc. Everything was great until Sam threw a wrench into my plan. I received a call on Saturday unlike any call I had received before. It was a call asking if I was still interested in that explorer2? Mind blown! I came home from vacation, picked up the dog from boarding, and high tailed it out to the domain where I had the most pleasant and memorable watch buying experience of my life. Even without getting this watch, Zadok had already become the number 1 watch shop in town. I will forever be a loyal customer to them, mostly for just being everything that is good in customer service. I also bought that 2008 pam111 from the watch maker I take my vintage watches to. I think I have another brand that I will need to start looking into and wouldn’t you know, I can now say, “I’ve got an AD for that!” Thank you so much Sam, every other team member, and to Zadok for...
Read moreI recently had an incredible experience at Zadok Jewelers at the Domain. Although they weren’t fully open yet, I decided to visit and check out the new Tudor Boutique. I ended up speaking for a long time with Steven, a knowledgeable expert about Tudor watches and who also runs the Tudor Boutique. I was also able to see some exclusive boutique-only pieces in person. While it was already a fantastic experience, I met Jonathan Zadok, one of the owners, and had a wonderful, lengthy conversation with him as well.
They gave me a quick tour of the rest of the store, including the IWC, Panerai, and JLC boutiques. I even got to peek at the unfinished Rolex boutique, which is going to be massive!
There’s a small group of great people who used to work at Ben Bridge, and are now at Zadok. That’s nice, especially if you already had a relationship with someone there, it’s an easy switch! Either way, everyone at the Zadok was excited, kind, and VERY happy to be there. The energy was fantastic, and I have a strong feeling that they will be a wonderful addition to the Domain and the Austin watch community.
After the tour, we returned to the Tudor Boutique because I wanted to try on some pieces. I realized that it was the actual opening day for the boutique, and any purchase would be the first Tudor sold. I couldn’t resist getting something special, right? :) After trying on a few pieces, Steven surprised me by offering me a hard-to-get boutique-only piece! I hadn’t even considered it because I didn’t think I’d see one, but it was an incredible moment to make!
I highly recommend that you stop in and visit! You...
Read moreI have to give the biggest, best review and thank you to Roger at Zadok! First of all, my overall experience with Zadok staff in general has been awesome! I met Dalia in the Rolex boutique originally and she was very considerate and attentive! She even maintained contact after registering my interest!
I then met Roger a few weeks later when I was looking to upgrade my wife’s engagement ring and wedding band for our anniversary! His approach to us was outstanding and assisted in us making the perfect selection for what my wife had in mind! What made things more awesome was Roger’s ADDITIONAL consideration! I informed him of how long I’d been waiting for a particular Rolex and the various negative experiences I’d encountered over the years with other businesses attempting to acquire it. A story that unfortunately many other watch lovers can relate to. But Roger (and Dalia again!) also demonstrated true consideration at that moment. This was made FULLY apparent when he contacted me two weeks later to offer me the piece I had been waiting on and passed over for for FIVE YEARS with other dealers!
The excitement that he also had being able to offer it to me further demonstrated the kind of individual he is! I will never forget that experience and will continue to be a loyal customer at Zadok!
This kind of service and true care is very hard to come by these days. And I haven’t felt that generally welcomed or treated that wonderfully in a store in a very long time.
So overall I give my experience at Zadok a 10 out of...
