I purchased a floral arrangement and paid for next day delivery.
Whoever they use for the third party delivery is awful. I got an email from a different company “hanafloralpos” and there was no information or link to contact anyone from that party. The automated email was a no reply unmonitored email address.
On Saturday 10/21/23, the day the arrangement was supposed to be delivered, I did not get any call or email indica there was an issue. It was not until 10:30 pm that night that I got another automated bot email that I could not reply to. And it claimed that the delivery driver - still no details on who or a name of the delivery company, that the driver attempted to contact my friend and no one answered the door at around 4 pm. No one attempted to contact me or the person receiving the flowers. Both of our phone numbers were provided when the order was placed.
The bot e-mail did not indicate at all if another delivery attempt would even be made.
I called and spoke with William on Sunday morning 10/22/23. His demeanor was pretty dismissive and uninterested in helping me. I was cut off while speaking several times as I attempted to ask for basic information like will they attempt to deliver the flowers again, what is the expected time window, and asking them to have the driver attempt to call or leave the flowers at the door this time. Very obvious things that should be part of the job when delivering overpriced flowers - really piss poor customer service.
I pointed out that I had payed extra for next day delivery and included tip for a driver who did not deliver the flowers. William said that he would refund the delivery fees. His tone was still insincere and dismissive when he said this, and I did not get any confirmation e-mail. This was clearly meant as an empty promise to placate me while I was just trying to get information on something I purchase. This promised refund has not been issued.
The flowers were not delivered on Sunday either. Whoever they use for their delivery service flat out lied - because my friend has a ring camera and there was zero footage from Saturday or Sunday showing a delivery person. No one went to the house or attempted to deliver like they allege.
When I attempted to call the store Sunday evening after it was past 4 pm, the promised delivery time, and at that point the whole surprise was ruined. My friend sat at home the whole afternoon anticipating a flower delivery that did not happen for a second time. Both calls went to unanswered. I attempted to call the store this morning I was sent to voicemail after one ring twice.
At this point I want a refund for everything that I paid for the horrible service and delivery that...
Read moreIf I could give this place 0 stars, I would. But, it is not an option. I ordered a $200+ floral arrangement from William Paul Floral Design in Austin. I ordered it in the morning for same-day delivery. I needed it for friends who were hosting a party for me the following day. I was staying with these friends for the weekend, so I was able to monitor the promised delivery. I received text updates that the flowers were in route. I tracked the delivery person, but he never got close to the house and at one point seemed to be stationary for quite some time. I thought that was odd. Then i got a notification that the flowers were delivered and a picture that was proof of delivery. The picture, which included a resident picking up the flowers from the stoop, was of a different house. We never received the flowers. The address was absolutely correct, yet our flowers were delivery to a different house. I texted the delivery number of the person who was supposed to be delivering according to the text notifcations, and someone responded and sent me a screenshot of his delivery list, and our address nor our order number was on the list. He said to reach out the florist the next day. I reached out the next day--Saturday--and they were supposed to be open. I probably called 15-20 times--no one answered. I kept getting a voicemail message that said to send a message on the website if I had an order issue. So, I send an email to the address on my order confirmation, as well as a submission form on the website. i didn't hear back from anyone until the next day, two days after my order, and they said they'd get a replacement arrangement out immediately. I told them I no longer needed the arrangement, as it was for an event that already happened, and so please cancel my order. They refused to cancel the order, citing a clear policy on their website of no refunds. But, as a customer, it seems like that policy should only apply if one actually receives the item that they paid for? I asked to speak to a manager, and the respondent continued to maintain that they would not refund. They were flippant and condescending in their reply. I never received a refund and I never received the flowers I ordered or a replacement order. Yet, they still charged my card $205. I am in the process of disputing the charge with my CC company and filing complaints with the BBB and the Texas AG's office. But, FYI! Be warned. This business is either a complete scam OR they don't care one bit about their business. Do NOT order from here. Plenty of other good...
Read moreWorst floral experience I’ve had to date. Placed a Valentine’s Day Order on 1/30/23 via their online ordering system, that was the easy and convenient part.
Zero Communication by them is the issue. On Valentine's Day I had not received any communication from the florist since ordering on 1/30/23 so I called just to confirm. They actually answered the phone (only time to date this has happened). They said the flowers were out for delivery so I took their word on it. They had my contact email and phone number if the delivery driver needed help. Flowers were never delivered and no communication was given that they weren’t going to be delivered. I called them roughly 4 to 5 times starting around 4pm on Valentine’s Day and it went straight to their voicemail so I left a message and also sent them an email. No flowers delivered on the day they were supposed to.
The next morning I called when they were supposed to open and went straight to voicemail again so I left a message. Called 3 or 4 more times throughout the day hoping to catch them on 1/15/23 the day after Valentines and it always went straight to voicemail. A 3rd party delivery driver called me at 6:15pm on 1/15 trying to delivery the flowers after I’ve already asked for a refund. He couldn’t deliver because my wife’s office was already closed for the day. No delivery for the second day. I sent another email and tried calling the 3rd day several times and straight to voicemail again. I received an email a few minutes ago of a successful delivery. At this point we don’t want the 2 day late 3 day old flowers instead a refund would be appreciated but you can’t ever get them to communicate with you. Looks like a visit to their shop will be the only way to get a refund or a response. Just communicate it’s not difficult, I honestly wouldn’t care if you had a delay or issues but the lack of customer service and lack of communication warrants others...
