Please do not buy from this company. Less than 90 days after I purchased my table the top peeled. I called Furniture City on June 8th to let them know. The representative I spoke to told me I needed to email them pictures of the issue and someone would get back to me. I emailed them on June 9th. I did not hear back from them so I called the store on June 18th and sent a second email on June 19th. I finally received a call from Sandra on June 20th. She told me a technician would be out to look at my table. The next day a tech showed up. He looked at the table and said "Yea, I've seen this happen before on this brand of tables." He said "We're going to have to replace the top." He said someone would reach out to me to schedule the replacement. A week passed and I hadn't heard from anyone so I called the store and was told someone would give me a call back. Another week went by and I still hadn't received a call so I called the store again. I finally received a call the week of July 23rd to schedule the replacement. I was put on the schedule for August 7th. Instead of coming out on the 7th they called to inform me that my replacement had not been approved by the Manager. As you can imagine I was completely shocked. The best part of the story is.....I was being denied because too many days had past since my original email. Ha! Unbelievable. Writing this makes me laugh a little. This whole time I assumed they were just busy and I genuinely thought I was dealing with a reputable business. But this was all part of their plan/process. In a nutshell their business model is sell inferior/defective products. Stall the replacement process long enough until enough time has passed to deny the claim. Sadly, I paid $1,174.39 in cash for a defective product. The so called Manager of the store would not give me the courtesy of explaining his decision. I asked to speak to him but I was left on hold for an extended period of time. He never came to the phone. Instead I spoke to an assistant named Adam. He blamed the mix up on a new employee that he states did not have the authority to approve the replacement. He also blamed the Technician that came to my home and told me it would be replaced. He finally blamed the scheduler for calling to schedule the replacement. The last thing Adam told me 15 days ago was that he was going to speak to the General Manager to see if he would approve the replacement. My guess is the General Manager like the Manager is hard to...
Read moreIf I could give Negative Zero stars, I would. I have had a terrible experience with this company. I have been waiting for my furniture that was ordered way back in November. That's the first part. I understand there are shipping delays, but you would think they would communicate that.
I spent over 10,000 almost 11,000 Cash on my purchase. I was very specific with what I wanted and still was missing an item from my order. After waiting until the end of February I decided to call and check on my order. MIND YOU THE SALES GUY REBHE A.K.A RED NEVER COMMUNICATED! His customer service skills are AWFUL AND NON-EXISTENT. Each and every time I heard about my order I had to contact him. I specifically said I needed 2 mattresses for the trundle day bed I purchased, which makes sense but they only delivered one and said I only ordered one. My dad and I were both there and he heard me tell Red I needed 2. Instead of the sales person admitting he made a mistake, he lied and said I only ordered one.
I thought speaking to the manager Adam would help, and he was no help. Arrogant, and lacking empathy, care or concern.
Fast forward to today, they come to deliver what they said was the remainder of my order, and guess what? I was STILL MISSING AN ITEM and What I was supposed to get was a wedge!! 🤯 I guess they took it upon themselves to change it to a love seat because it does not wedge between the two couches like it is supposed to. I call the store, the lady who answered the phone was kind, but let me know that it never came in, that's why it wasn't delivered. I thanked her for letting me know, and asked for a manager.
She comes back to the phone and says, The manager Adam was busy. I'm guessing he did not want to take my call. I asked for the other manager and she responded Adam said they are both busy.
This is terrible customer service and I would not recommend this place for three reasons, Lack of Care and concern for customers, lack of customer service skills, and lack of Furniture seeing as it has been since November and is now almost April and I'm still...
Read moreThis place is a joke. We went in yesterday to purchase a sectional the “manager” showed us around we picked what we liked and he then led us to Alexis (who was very rude even over the phone when I called prior to going down) manager tells us they have the couch in stock it can be delivered this week I then asked him if we can pick up the couch he replied with absolutely yes! Alexis proceeded to tell us we could not pick up so ok let’s get it delivered he said he could “not” give me a delivery date. I’m confused I’m paying 3 grand out of pocket for a couch and you can not give me a date then proceed to say they have to come from the warehouse when the manager said he has 5 of that sectional in stock. I was done with their rudeness and lies and asked for my money returned to my card and I’d go somewhere else Alexis then said he didn’t know if he could give me my money back. He called his manager and the manager lied directly to our faces saying “I never said we had them in stock” we got refunded thank God & went across the street to the valley plaza Furniture Land & purchased a beautiful sectional with ease & it’ll be delivered Saturday. I’d stay away from these people clearly they do not care about customers if they can easily lie to...
