Hobby Lobby — Local services in Bangor

I'm against their corporate policies regarding health insurance and I never went there for a very long time because of this. They are a palpable Christian store which is irritating on some level, and they are closed on Sundays, which is exactly 1/2 of my days off.

That said, the store is clean, the staff are friendly, the aisles are well lit, and there appears to be some order to the assemblage of merchandise. They have a good selection Model cars, Rocketry, and leathercraft supplies which is a rarity up here. Prices are reasonable, and the discounted section is actual discounted. Its a generally pleasant shopping experience.

You can take the Bangor Area Transit (BAT BUS) (still-water route) here. Parking is ample, in the mornings. The other businesses in this plaza are restaurants, which aren't open until...

Typically all the same, after you know the layout of the store, every one will almost be the same. Need to watch out on the bathrooms, this store has them reverse from the one that I was going to before in my past life. I keep wanting to go into the ladies room where the men room should be according to the other Stores layout. I don't think anyone would care I've seen ladies coming out of men's rooms before, I wouldn't have minded but I really needed to go. The last time I was there and headed to the privy I almost got mowed down by a Battle axe and she gave me a look that could demobilize Godzilla.

For the most part everyone is very pleasant that works there and are always willing to help everyone out trying to find what they are looking to leave their Monertary...

I love Hobby Lobby! It is always very clean and organized and it's a warm and inviting atmosphere. The employees are always friendly and willing to assist you in any way they can! Some items can be pricey but I love that they always have sales and that you can use their online 40% off coupon. Sometimes I wished they were open on Sunday's as that is usually the best time for me to shop but I love that they are sticking to their Christian roots and allowing their employees to have Sunday's off to spend with their families and attend church....
