Wonderful beer with a "perfect" curated menu. I can only assume they share a kitchen with the Oriental Jade. I've yet to be disappointed with the food or the service in any of my visits.

As much as I would love to give this location a full five stars across the board....I can't get a certain experience out of my head.

I stopped in on Valentine's weekend for a quiet night with my girlfriend. We chose a high rise table near the back of the main room. Unbeknownst to me, one of the bartenders/employees was in the middle of some sort of pinball tournament and proceeded to pound 2 beers while playing possibly the loudest pinball machine every created.

I had seen this employee tend bar before and I saw him frequently speak with other staff and go in and out of the backroom while continuing to play the obnoxiously loud Godzilla themed pinball. This continued for 20 minutes before me and my girlfriend moved to the only other available table across the room. We could still hear it but at least it wasn't as deafening.

Another large table that was only slightly further away was occupied by a single employee who was doing some work on a laptop, and Mr. Pinball himself who was recording his scores.

Fantastic location but whoever decided to put that machine in and let employees drink and play it during dinner hours on a holiday weekend needs to seriously rethink...

I came in to get a present for my husband. Walking in I expected a VERY strong beer smell. It does smell of beer but not in an offensive way. It is more of a fragrant smell. Not knowing anything about beer they were so amazing at taking the time to explain the beers in a way that was easy for me to understand. They allowed me to sample them before buying and were just amazing at customer service. The bar itself is AMAZING. The decor is witty and fun with lots of activities to do. They also serve other alcohol there. I left a very happy and excited customer with a unique and fun gift for my husband. They also placed a seal onto the bottle to make it safe for travel. The bottle is very nice and we will most likely keep it instead of getting the deposit back. If your looking for a fun place to gather, this is a gem I am sure will soon become the place to visit when in Bangor. All in all, not a negative comment to make.
