We called the morning of and luckily we were able to book a 15 minute session in one of their mineral whirlpool baths for later that afternoon. The staff was very friendly and informative. We were escorted back to the changing area where we were provided with a locker to put our valuables in. Also, inside of the locker was a clean robe and a pair of sandals for us to wear. The whirlpool was very relaxing and calming. I highly liked that it was private and we didn't have to share with other people. You can wear as little as you would like. Definitely recommend if you're in town visiting.

Staff at Atasia were wonderful & demonstrated true customer service. Freddy Tan gave me the Best massage I have ever had. Truly fround tension areas that I didn't even know existed. I had whirlpool, steam room & 90 minute massage.

I have mixed reviews from two treatments in two days: day 1 whirlpool and massage with Tree. Her ā€œfirmā€ pressure was nowhere near what I was used to but she was competent and gave a relaxing and enjoyable massage. Whirlpool was nice, shared with a friend and a little cramped for two unless you are a couple 😜 Day two was not so nice. I had a mud treatment at 10:00am. Apparently they had just opened and the room for the treatment was not heated before I entered. It never became warm enough for me to stop shivering for the 45 min. The first five minutes the girl splashed water on me and applied the mud mask to most of my body, overlooking my feet, hands, neck and backside. She seemed in a hurry. Then she explained, I’m going to leave you here for about 20-30 minutes then I’ll come back and rinse you off. I told her I was cold and asked if the heat could be turned up. she turned up the heat and checked the room temperature, ā€œit’s like 81 in hereā€. I think she thought I was being overly sensitive but truly lying naked and wet on a metal table it just wasn’t quite warm enough to be comfortable. She left for about 25 minutes (there was a clock in the room but no music or sound other than the heater) and I waited trying not to shake from being cold. It was miserable. She came in and spent about 10 minutes spraying me with water to rinse me off, the water comes out of the shower heads cold at first, then warms up after a couple seconds. Not a big deal but i was already so chilled it sucked. My friends were getting different treatments at the same time and afterwards when we talked we discovered we were all uncomfortably cold the entire time. I would think a spa would take more care to make people physically comfortable while getting services, and heating the building so it’s warm when it opens is not a lot to expect. Also I wanted to warn anyone against the mud treatment, it is way overpriced. It is a mud mask, not a treatment. It takes no skill, time or effort for the person to apply the mud then rinse it off and it is a scam to be...

Went for a couples massage. A 2 star from me, 4 star from my husband. First, the couples massage is not what we were expecting. They had us on beds in different rooms that connected rather than right next to each other like we expected. My husband enjoyed his massage and and thought his therapist was very professional and good. She asked questions at the beginning and throughout to ensure a good massage and he was overall pleased with his experience. My massage therapist however did not ask such questions (like if I had health issues even [which I do], or where I would like focused or what pressure). The first half of the massage did not overly seem like a massage even. She rubbed my neck a bit. But otherwise just scratched my scalp (scratched, not rubbed) and rubbed lotion on me; but not actually massaging really. She also did something strange with my ears where she pulled on them and it seriously hurt. And hour later and my ears still are sensitive. The massage did get better when she massaged my back (bringing it from a 1 star to 2 star) as it actually seemed like a normal massage at that point. Wish the whole thing would have been...

Visited Berkeley Springs for my first real vacation in years, and one of the things I set out to do was have a spa treatment in the famed mineral water, since I have never had anything like that in my life. I chose Atasia and booked "a little escape package" special which includes the eucalyptus steam room, whirlpool bath, and massage. It was all wonderful. The steam was very hot and I was not really expecting it, but the eucalyptus was so refreshing, and the steam good for your skin. The whirlpool was heavenly. A little difficult to get situated in the tub since I'm on the tall side, however, I enjoyed my soak and the jets on my back. Michelle did my massage at the end and she was so good. She asked if I wanted any attention to or avoidance of certain areas. Her pressure was good and firm, especially around my neck and shoulders where I hold some tension. It's a little hard for me to relax at times, but after she was done with me, I felt so limp and calm (in the best way). Outstanding experience, and the inside atmosphere is so soothing and lovely. Thanks ladies,...
