I went there in hopes to finding a bracelet to fit my 4&1/2 inch wrist. Which is almost impossible. I knew what I was looking for -it had to be silver and adjustable preferably a bolo. I looked literally everywhere. As the mother of the bride, which is stressful, looking for something that probably doesn’t exist added to my stress level! The salesperson caught my eye and she could tell I was getting upset. All I can say is heaven sent me an angel, Cassaundria! She asked what I was looking for and that she could help. I doubt it, I looked at EVERYTHING. She brought me at least 10 different styles to try on, and she understood my frustration. She kept saying we are going to find something. I showed her a bracelet that I REALLY liked but it was in GOLD☹️ She recommended I try it on and see what I thought. Carefully she removed it from the box and slipped it on my wrist. It is beautiful. I love it EXCEPT IT IS GOLD. She excused herself and said she’d be right back. She returned with a slip of paper with a number on it. I asked what this was. The WEB ID # to order the SILVER one online! I almost fainted. I sat right there and began to order. Oh and by the way the original price was $140.00 and it is on sale for $42.00! Now 🥹tears of joy. You get free shipping as well. I also had $10.00 in rewards = $32.00+tax!! It came in today and it is perfect! Words cannot express how happy she made me. Sweet kind and caring. I ordered an Apply Watch Nike Series 3 on November 23, 2018. When I placed my order there was no message or notice of the item being sold out or on backorder. I got a projected shipment date of December 3, 2018 before purchasing. Once I purchased my shipment date was set to December 13, 2018 due to a back order issue. This morning, December 6, 2018 I received an email saying my item would be delayed and there was no expected shipping date, but to respond to Macy's by Jan 12, 2019 if I still wanted to wait. I have two complaints - 1. Upon purchase, I was given the expectation that the item was available and "in stock". 2. I had to call after purchasing to receive a confirmation number - it was not automatically provided to me 3. After calling Macy's customer service regarding the change in shipment date I was told I would definitely receive my item by December 13. 4. This morning when I called to speak with customer service about the delay in backorder issue my facilitator was extremely unhelpful. She informed me if I need the watch to shop elsewhere. I am not sure where to go from here, but I do know that my expectations with online ordering from the Macy's website have not been met. I can understand the holiday season variable plays a part in this service but when I order something that is "in stock/available" I expect...
Read moreAs I walked up to the cashier to pay for my items and also return 3 items I greeted the cashier twice before she spoke back to me. Once I purchased my items I told her thank you she didn't tell me thank you and then she said you're welcome. As soon as another customer walked up she pleasantly said Hi how are you doing with the voice of an angel. When I heard it I shook my head in disbelief because it never ceases to amaze me how people can change like chameleons. This lack of customer service is very disappointing because I am a Macy's credit card holder and I shop at Macy's often. The cashier didn't have on the name tag so I couldn't include her name but I do have my receipt and she was working by the register right next to the entrance of backstage. I will be calling Macy's to let the manager know about the treatment I received. It may seem small to some but customer service goes a long way.
