After scamming me for a house call,I called to ask about repair to my fridge ,they said we will come out and check maybe we can fix it there ,not knowing they will charge 85 for the house call,he came in open the fridge door closed it,same for freezer less then 4 and half min in my house to say it has to go to the shop as I intended from the git,then after I dropped it off because if he took it that day it would have cost 100$...they took the 50$ off the final bill for the call out as said but they refused to give the military discount as said ,I asked and they said yes they do offer discount to militery and would do it on my repair ,that was the deciding factor for me going to them over the many other options,they stright up lied to me in my fave to get me to bring it in,i am in Touch with a lawer to see about a law suit,as i habe vid recored conversion, im a vet and always ready to defend and record wvery conversation,at pick up 2 weeks later they refused and said they will only offer militery if I bought a new appliance from them .....never go to Ted's, everyone I k ow says they charge the freon a 50 $ gig then lie and say they had to change a part at first they said 700 some dollers i said no way then all of a sudden he said he coukd do it for 4oo something..veary fishy to me the sudden drop ...I'll be checking my self endless to say to verifynew parts ahve been out on,I knew and heard all my life from kazoo to bc near 30 sum years now to stay away from them ,but thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt as I had not done business with them my self until now.never ever again will I use Ted's. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was happy that we bought our washer and dryer from this place. But now I'm regretting it. I've been waiting 3 wks for my dryer to get fixed. This isn't even the dryer we bought in the 1st place. I bought a blue samsung frontloading dryer with the drawer on it. It stopped working after months of it working great so I called and asked them to come and fix it. I thought they were tsking it to fix it and giving me a loner. This was it May 2021 1 month went by before I decided to call and see what was going on come to find oout the traded them out and resold the blue. I did not agree to that. Now the one they traded it for and I have been waiting 3 wks for someone to come and fix it. I have scheduled multiple appointments andit is clear that they don't value return costumers and they tell you that you have a 18 month warranty but they don't honor it. They tell me I live to far away they are in bc/Kalamazoo and I am in Union city. I am not happy with them and will never recommend them to anyone ever. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI purchased a washer from Ted's in B.C. in late January. Over the next 18 months it failed a couple of time and the service was covered under warranty. However, just before the 18 months was up, it started having intermittent problems of popping the GFI. After a couple of in house attempts, they picked it up and took to the shop for testing. I was now past the 18 month cut off. It was brought back - with in 5 or 6 loads, it failed again. Ted's replaced it with a different unit - all at no additional costs including delivery fees because the problem started BEFORE the warranty was out. Needless to say I was extremely irritated during those couple of months not knowing if I could / could not wash clothes. In the end - Ted's Made It Right. I will return if I need anything...
