[Update – Reply to the stores Response] My review was accurate but more to the point was mainly to warn others before they went to your store for service though I actually think your reply will do a much better job than I ever could in warning others before walking into your store; but -
You did not initially tell me the chain was deteriorating and if it was not repairable then why did you take the job and my money in the first place to fix it without just refusing the job. Instead you said it was an easy fix but returned a mangled mess to me. If I wanted a cheap fix I would have just taken a pair a pliers and a hammer to it myself, I could have likely done a better job than what you first handed back to me, instead I brought it to you to repair. Also, when you handed the chain back to me the first time it literally re-broke within two minutes of me leaving the store. The fact that you would even hand that back to me in that condition in the first place ultimately speaks to the quality of your service and should have set flags off in my head before I ever handed it back to you to re-repair. But only after I did hand it back to you did you mention the chain was deteriorating but that came almost two weeks later.
While you did offer to fix the chain from the deterioration that update from your 'experts' only came after I had to call you to get an update on the repair status. I did then request the chain to be returned mainly out of fear of what your version of fixing it would be. That said, when I did come in to the store to pick up the chain it was ultimately still missing links and you had not included either the original links or any replacement links, which are apparently so cheap they should be easily have been given, and in fact you argued with me that you had returned everything. So in direct response to your comments I am not implying you got away without returning a part of the chain I am stating that as a fact. You also certainly let me walk out of the store without stopping me and making it right. Contrary to your reply you never called me (like you said you would) to have me come pick-up the links and only now after my review are you telling me you had them and are offering to replace the chain. While I am a first time customer, so I guess I don’t know your policy of making it right, after your initial fix I guess I am not willing to take the chance to see what you would consider fixing it.
The amount of repairs you do while impressive is I am sorry to say not a factor in how you handled my repair or the follow-up of it and therefore you earned the rating you got.
Finally, as to the stores claim on the value of the chain and it being a simple box chain that’s only worth $60. The response here should tell anyone walking into your shop everything they need to know about how they would treat their item. If you take someone’s item to fix, regardless of the monetary value of the item, you should take care with it. You have no idea what the emotional non-monetary value the item has to a person. The tragedy is that I walked into your store to begin with. But you know it’s just 12 cents...
[Original Review] If I was able to give negative stars I would.
Went there for a simple box chain repair which I was told they could handle. Not only did they not repair the necklace Aaron's Gold made the chain worse.
First they soldered the chain, which ended up not only looking horrible but ruined an additional 5 links on the chain, but then they handed it back to me without even inspecting the quality, which re-broke literally after two minutes.
They promised to fix the issue and replace the missing links but then after nearly two weeks still was not complete so I requested my item back. Which they did but had removed and did not return the links they ruined which also lowered the weight and length of the chain.
So essentially the company ruined my chain more than before they got it and technically got away with not returning part of my chain or replacing the links they destroyed.
Avoid at all costs for...
Read moreI bought a ring in this store and had my bracelet repaired. The stones fell out of the ring and the bracelet broke. Terrible service and customer care! I wanted to resize my bracelet, but they broke it in the process, and it broke in half a few days later. And the stones in the rings fall out every couple of days! I came to exchange the ring where the stone fell out, and they told me that I probably didn't wear it correctly 😢 They didn't refund me, they said they would send it somewhere for inspection and offer me to buy other items for the same amount instead. I bought them and in the end, the stones fell out of 2 out of 3 items again. I'm shocked. I do not recommend anyone to go there! They will sell you low-quality goods and break your valuables! My bracelet was a gift, it was very precious to me! 💔 Редкостные рукожопы и жулики! Пердуху продают, ещё и наглости хватает говорить что носите не так как надо!!! Изговняли все настроение!!!
UPDATE. I was in this store again on 12.20.2024, met the owner, and he made sure that I was a real customer, then he doubted the authenticity of the receipts that I posted here earlier. To be honest, it was strange that the owner, seeing these papers, began to say that the information was poorly visible on them, to which I replied that apparently it was time for them to change the cash register or the staff who give customers papers without information. The main thing is that he agreed that I was a real buyer and that the receipts were real, this was progress. Then I told him that for 3 months they tormented my wife, who went to them 7-8 times to get the goods for which she paid. They lied that they sent these things somewhere else for repair. I asked that they did not think it was normal that he bought 3 new jewelry items, the customer sends them all for repair ?! I have never seen such service when buying jewelry. The customer service is terrible, and the goods are of very low quality. Fraud, honestly I don't understand how they still work there, with such goods. They didn't make me any offer that would be interesting to me, once again I regretted that I contacted them. They only smile and lie, that's what they are professionals at. HORRIBLE PLACE.
P.S. Dear owner of this place, please don't write me anything. I am not writing this to you, but I am doing this for potential customers who can save money and time if they make a purchase in...
Read moreI needed my watch band sized on my Invicta Reserve 52mm Venom Fusion Shutter PL Swiss Quartz Watch! I looked at all the reviews on a lot of the Jewlers websites in Bayonne and they were terrible! I know we can't make everybody happy, but you have to look at the ratings and make and honest evaluation! I usually go to Clifton to my Jeweler, but I live in Bayonne now and was trying my best to find someone here? Aaron did my girls watch and did a great job, so I decided to give them a try. So like I said, I have a Invicta Reserve 52mm Venom Fusion Shutter PL Swiss Quartz Watch which isn't a cheap watch! I was worried about the enamel finish on it when doing the sizing? Aaron was very knowledgeable about Invicta watches and issues with the enamel wedging between the pin and the hole? Which one pin didn't want to come out, so he used a special pin punch that pushes the pin out and scapes excess enamel away with harming the watch! His diligence and mannerism was completely professional, and I will be going to Aaron's Gold for all my watch needs...
