Decor By Liz — Local services in Bayonne

No words to describe how unprofessional and inconsiderate Liz and her company were for my bridal shower today 6.12.22 at the Brownstone. My event started at 11:30am with me arriving at 12:00. My mother who threw the shower had to deal with stress that could have been avoided with a simple phone call.

Drop off was supposed to be at 10:00am and my mother gave them until 10:30am before calling to see what was going on. After several attempts, Liz’s daughter finally answered her to say that the delivery guy was on his way from Bayonne NJ to Paterson at 11:00am. There is no way that it would ever be delivered and set up in 30 minutes.

I was left waiting outside my bridal shower at 12:30pm to enter because it had just arrived at the same time I did. I missed an hour of my party because of this mistake. I had to pretend to put on a happy face for my entrance when all I felt was anger, sadness, and rage moments before what was supposed to me a beautiful day. I quickly let it go to try and enjoy my day, but I am beyond disgusted with how it was handled.

The delivery guy tried to give an excuse if Liz being in the hospital the night before. I genuinely hope that she is okay, but that has nothing to do with being professional and delivering an item that you were never planning on delivering yourself. She always had someone else set to deliver it and the reason for him personally not being on time was never explained. The fact that no one thought to call my mom and let her know that they were behind or that Liz was in the hospital is BEYOND me. Will never book her again or recommend...

I had my baby shower at Liz’s Venue and it was everything I could have imagined it to be. I sent Liz pictures of the theme I wanted it to be and she truly went above and beyond to make my vision come true. She was extremely professional and attentive. She answered all of my questions quickly and took care of every detail. The waitresses and bartender were amazing the day of my shower. They were extremely attentive to all of my guests. I will be booking future events here. The space is beautiful and Liz does a perfect job at not overcrowding the venue. It is modern, the bathrooms are beautiful. The bar is also beautiful. All of my guests loved the entrance of the venue and how it was decorated. The DJ space at the venue was great. All in all I’m beyond happy and satisfied with my experience at Liz’s Venue.
